Chapter 5- Jaunedice

We were in Glynda's class watching Jaune fight Carden and so far it doesn't look so good for Jaune. Jaune was breathing heavily balancing on his sword and he had his shield in his other hand. Cardin then laughed, probably at Jaune's tired state. Jaune then charged towards Cardin and swung at him. Cardin unfortunately dodged. Jaune turned around to meet a hammer(I don't know what it is) to the shield, he flew backwards and ended up on the ground. Jaune got up quickly and swung at Cardin. Cardin used the handle of his weapon and defended. Cardin then kneaded Jaune in the gut, causing Jaune to hold his stomach, and fall slowly to the ground laying sideways. Cardin raised his weapon above Jaune probably to finish him off, But Glynda intervened.

" Cardin, that's enough," Glynda said as she walked in between Cardin and Jaune, who was still on the ground recovering.

" Students, as you can see Mr. Arc's aura now dropped into the red. In a tournament styled duel. This would indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle and that the official may call the match," Glynda informed us.

" Mister Arc, it's been weeks now, please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your aura will help you decide when it is appropriate to attack or when it's better to move to a more.....defensive strategy. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a Beowolf, now would we?" Glynda told Jaune  while looking at him.

" Remember everyone! The Vytal Festival is only a few months away it won't be long before students from other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale." Glynda told us.

Then the bell rang and everyone started to head out.

Time-Skip

" So...There we were...In the middle of the night..." Nora said.

" It was day," Ren said correcting Nora.

Since I heard this a lot of times I blocked them out to think about which job should I get. The only two places I saw in RWBY was the dust shop and Junior's Club. I chose the club since it shouldn't be too hard. The only thing I should worry about is Roman since he was in the yellow trailer, but other than that I should be fine. I came back to my senses hearing about them talk about how the times Cardin bullied Jaune. Everyone was looking at Jaune even me.

" I didn't land far from the school," Jaune said.

" Jaune, you know if you ever need help you can just ask," Pyrrha reassured.

" OOH! We'll break his legs!" Nora shouted.

Its annoying that Jaune is not doing anything about Cardin. Yet he is the leader of team JNPR. I wouldn't let anyone bully me.

" Guys, really, it's fine! Besides, it's not like he's only a jerk to me; he's a jerk to everyone" Jaune reassured.

" Ow! that hurts!" Velvet said in pain as Cardin kept pulling her rabbit ear.

They all looked at Velvet (except me of course) getting bullied by Cardin and his team.

" Atrocious. I can't stand people like him," Pyrrha said angrily.

" Your not the only one," Blake told her.

" It must be hard to be a faunas," Yang said looking sad.

Then everyone went back to eating, talking, or reading a book. As I glare at Cardin from afar.
