Some days,
some nights.
Some love,
some fright.
We all become what we all choose.
We all descend like ashes that stood.
We all desire to be one with the good.
We all burn with the sins of the fool.
Some days,
some night.
Some love,
some fright.
The path is now on sight.
I hold your hand in mine.
I know what I must choose.
Though, i'm afraid to lose you.
Some days,
some nights.
Some love,
some fright.
I don't regret my choice.
I hope you say the same of yours.
I'll still wait by the tree.
In our garden of auburn leaves.
Some days
some nights
Some love
some fright.
Years have molded into lilac skies.
Endless, like a love so true only at night.
I have waited and kept our stars bright.
Only to know, you chose a new life.
Some days,
some nights.
Some like you,
some like I.
Tomorrow, I adieu.
This last one is for you.
Beat on with the currents, my love.
Forget not that little girl called love.
