Finding Love Within Yourself

You once asked me how I found myself

To tell the truth

I never really did

I don't think you ever find your whole self

I think you find pieces of yourself as you go through life

A life that won't be easy

A life that will be filled with darkness

But I have taught that in darkness

You can always find light

You find a huge part of yourself

When you first learn to love yourself

Loving yourself is the first step into life

Into a life where people will hurt you

Where they might try to break you

But you have to remember

That you mean more to yourself than you will ever know

There will be times where you will want to be someone else

But I am here to teach you

To teach about life and love that it can bring

The first step to anything that you will accomplish in life

Is loving yourself

Without that, you will not succeed

So go, go and find your pieces

Your pieces to eternal life.
