CHAPTER 12
Marcid [adjective]: withered, incredibly exhausted
"Can you read me this book?" I ask him, placing the book in his lap.
"Of course" I rest my head against his chest, as he slowly strokes my hair soothingly.
"Do you seriously want to read this book?!" He asks me and starts laughing loudly making me pout at him.
"What?" I ask him, hitting his arm lightly.
"This book's title is 'How to be a cool grandma' " He exclaims, laughing loudly.
"It's not funny" I mutter, hearing him suddenly chuckle at me.
"Why do you want me to read this book, my love?" My heart starts fluttering, as I feel my cheeks getting warmer and warmer each second.
"I never had a grandma, so I just thought that if I ever have grandchildren then I could be the coolest grandma in the history of the coolest grandmas!!" I exclaim, hearing him try to control his laughter.
"You mean when you become the coolest grandma, yeah?" I shrug at his words.
"It's hard to love and marry a blind girl" I smile sadly, as I place my head back on his chest.
"No, it's not; The guy would be the luckiest guy in the whole world to marry you" He whispers, stroking my hair.
Can I marry you? I shook the thought away, smiling softly.
"Just read the book"
"Okay, tip number 1 is you need to always eat chocolate with your grandchildren," He says, his voice showing that he's holding back his laughter.
"Continue" I mutter, feeling my cheeks.
"Tip number 2 is that you need to know how to-"Instead of completing the sentence, he starts laughing loudly.
"Adrian!! Continue" I scold him, making him hold back his laughter.
"You need to learn how to... make paper lemons with your butt" He starts laughing loudly, making me giggle at him.
"How do we make paper lemons with our butts?" I ask him, grinning.
"Why are you even asking that in the first place?! Firstly, we should know- what the fuck are paper lemons?" I laugh with him, shaking my head.
"Then, you need to get a lama, so you can bully the bullies your grandchildren have to deal with"
