NEW YORK STREETS - FEBRUARY 1903Mildred Densmore is the most gorgeous human being alive and no one could tell you otherwise.
Your head is full of her, your heart is drenched with love for her. You would fly solo around the world in a suitcase if she asked you to.
If she loved you, your life would finally have meaning. But it won’t. And she can’t. Because you’re a woman. And women can’t love each other.
A sigh shudders out of your bones and into the frigid air, and you stumble over a newspaper left on the dirty street, but catch yourself just in time. If only you were a man. And then it hits you -an idea, not the newspaper- she’ll love you if you were a man.
A man.
It wouldn’t be hard. You’re not a very feminine 26 year old girl. You could pull it off. You’d do anything for those blue eyes, that shining golden hair, those rosebud-pink lips.
Anything.

A/N - I hope you like this so far, it was originally written for one of my classes, but I thought I would publish it here and see what Wattpad thinks of it! I'm sorry the chapters are so short, but let me know what you are liking right now :)
