Cut immediately to a shot of Kellus' eyes. He awakens. Out of breath. He looks around the room he is in. He sits up in pain. He quickly reaches for his lightsaber but doesn't find it on him. He sees G7 on a table across the way. Just as the mysterious hero walks in. But now we can see his face. A young adult, no more than 19.

"Who are you? Where am I? What did you do with my weapon?" Kellus asks.

The young adult replies. "My name is Jeb. I was the one who rescued you. I saw what happened. I brought you to my home. Your lightsaber is here. I took the liberty of cleaning it for you. So you're a Jedi?"

Kellus stands up. "I owe you my life young Jeb. Yes, I am. Jedi Master Var Kellus."

Jeb smiles. "Wow. I've never met a real Jedi before. I've only read stories. Guardians of peace. Protectors of the galaxy. I've always dreamed of being a Jedi."

Just then, Jeb's mother Dara enters the room. She hands Kellus a drink. "Here, drink this. It will make you feel better. I'm Dara. Jeb's mother. Lucky thing Jeb found you. You and your droid couldn't have made it. Jeb told me what happened. The Sith are savages. Coming here and taking over our mines. Destroying villages. It's horrible."

Kellus drinks the medicine. "Thank you Dara. Var Kellus. The whole attack on the village was a setup. Darth Zekko lured me in using an innocent villager. I tried to fight him off but I failed. I fear whatever they are planning, it will cause destruction to the galaxy. I must go meet with the Jedi Order to inform them of the Sith's actions."

Jeb thinks. "We don't have a ship. But I know where we can get one. There's a spaceport nearby. I can take you there on my speeder."

Kellus sees G7 again. "Thank you. My droid. Is he ok?"

Jeb sits down by the table G7 is on. "Yes he will be ok. I fixed him and he is powering up now."

Jeb unplugs the power cord. G7 wakes up. "Hello! I am G7-14."

Jeb laughs. "Hi! My name is Jeb. Jeb Rangor. Nice to meet you G7!"

Kellus walks to Jeb. "Rangor? Your last name is Rangor?"

Jeb looks confused. "Yeah? Why?"

Kellus sighs. "Your father. I knew your father. Gareth Rangor? He was a good man. A great Jedi Knight too."

Jeb gets excited. "You knew my father?! He was a Jedi?!" Jeb looks at his mom. "Did you know this mom?"

Dara looks shocked. "I did. But I just never found the right time to tell you. I did it to protect you. If the Sith ever found out we were related to your father, I don't know what they would've done to our family. You have to understand. This wasn't about keeping secrets. It was about protecting you and me."

Kellus responds before Jeb can speak . "I'm sorry, I didn't know. Forgive me Mrs Rangor."

Dara responds. "It's ok Kellus. Call me Dara." She smiles at him.

Jeb has a tear in his eye. "I understand mom. I know it was the right thing to do. But I know now. Kellus, you said you knew my father, what was he like? He disappeared when I was young a long time ago along with my brother Andian. I don't remember anything about them. My father left me with this necklace. This is the only memory I have of him."

Jeb holds up a necklace with an orange Kyber Crystal attached to it.

Kellus is impressed by the color of the crystal. Orange isn't common among the Kyber Crystals.

"Your father, was a great warrior. Protecting the systems from the dark side. He never mentioned you. He wanted to protect you." Kellus says.

Jeb replies, "You talk about him in the past. Did he die?"
