Exit the main square. It is now close to suns set. Cut to the troopers taking Jeb to the prison transporter.
"Hurry up boy." The officer says as he kicks Jeb toward the transporter.
The giant shuttle sits in a docking port.
Jeb glares at the officer. "I'm going!"
They head into the port. Jeb sees the heavily guarded transport. Troopers with blasters stand guard. The caped troopers stand militant as the officer, Jeb and the other troopers walk up the ramp into the prisoner transport.
They throw Jeb into a cell and activate the ray shield. Jeb charges at the shield but gets thrown back. He is panting as he lays on the ground.
"Don't bother. I've tried that..." a voice says.
Jeb looks up. He sees a young woman. Around his age. Dressed in a green rebel outfit. A brown vest, tan pants. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail but braided in a space style.
Jeb gets up. "Who are you?" Jeb asks.
She helps him and responds, "I'm Sarodhi Adulla. And you are?"
Jeb brushes himself off, "I'm Jeb Rangor. I need to get out of here."
Sarodhi laughs. "Nice to meet you Jeb. Trust me, there isn't a way out. How did a guy like you end up here?"
Jeb smiles back at her. "I hit an officer in the face. Trying to protect a citizen. You?"
"I'm with the Resilience. A group of rebels who defy the Sith. We want to bring an end to this war and restore the galaxy back to the way it once was. Before the Sith. Before Ravok. I was making a supply run to Resilience operatives when the Sith took over Scora. They imprisoned me because of my emblem on my vest. Their goal is to extinguish hope. They show no mercy."
Jeb nods then exclaims, "The Resilience?! I've heard about you. The rebels!"
Sarodhi smiles, "Yep! We formed an alliance to protect the galaxy from threats like the one on Scora."
Jeb thinks for a second, "There must be some way to get out of here. Once we do, I must find my friend. Var Kellus. He's in the port somewhere. We must get to Rou Flodi and warn the Jedi Order of their actions. "
Sarodhi gets excited, "Var Kellus? The Jedi? Are you a Jedi too?"
Jeb smiles, "Not yet, but I am going to be. My father was a Jedi, now I want to be like him. Bringing peace, like you said, back to the galaxy."
Sarodhi responds, "Wow. That's amazing. That's what we need right now. I will help you get to Rou Flodi. I'm a pilot ya know. What's that around your neck? Is that a Kyber Crystal?"
Jeb grabs it, "Yeah, it is! My father gave this to me."
Sarodhi smiles, "Well that's our way out of here. Give me it. Kyber can heat up when conducted properly and gather energy from the sources around it. If I can conduct it with the ray shield it should be able to overheat the panel and open the door."
Jeb hands her the necklace. She looks for guards. No one is around.
"How are we gonna get past the troopers? Even if they don't see us now I'm sure we will get caught." Jeb states.
Sarodhi responds while conducting the Crystal with the shielded door. "I have a plan for that. Trust me. I have a ship. It's in hangar 16. " Sarodhi says.
The door opens. Other prisoners see them escaping. But don't say a word. They all see Sarodhi's emblem for the Resilience.
"This way!" Sarodhi whispers.
The prisoner transport shuttle has yet to leave. Sarodhi and Jeb turn the corner of the prison level of this barge like ship.
Two troopers run into them. "Hey stop right there!" They say.
Sarodhi grabs them both and does some karate type moves on them. Knocking both of them to the ground.
Jeb watches in awe. "Wow. That's your plan?"
Sarodhi chuckles, "I told you to trust me..."
They drag the passed out stormtroopers to a closet area and change into their uniforms. Now in full trooper outfits, helmets and all, Jeb and Sarodhi make way off the transport.
Officer Von, the man Jeb hit in the face, stops the two troopers as they leave the prison barge. "Troopers! We are about to depart to the mine, where do you think you're going?!"
Jeb speaks up first. "Uhhh, Lord Zekko has commanded me and this trooper friend here to find more prisoners to bring to the mine."
Officer Von looks confused. "I'm your superior! You think he would report to you and not me?!"
Sarodhi punches Von and knocks him out. "I see why you hit him..." she says jokingly to Jeb.
They exit the shuttle, but an alarm sounds.
"Prisoner escape. Prisoner escape. Two suspects have broken out of the barge. Caution, they are dressed in stolen armor.."
Jeb grabs Sarodhi's hand and they run out of the port. Still in their uniforms. They dart out of the port. Troopers begin to fire at them after they notice that they are running away. As they run down the Main Street, more and more troopers start looking for them.
"This way." Jeb says.
They run down an alley, but are stopped by none other than Var Kellus. He extends his green saber.
"Whoa whoa it's me!" Jeb says as he removes his helmet.
Kellus sighs and retracts his blade.
G7 goes and gives Jeb a hug, "So good to see you alive Jeb."
"You too my friend." Jeb says to G7.
Sarodhi takes her helmet off. "Sarodhi Adulla. Of the Resilience. I've heard a lot about you Master Kellus. Jeb and I escaped together. I have a ship. We have to make it to hangar 16. That's where she is."
Kellus shakes her hand, "Nice to meet you Sarodhi. Let's move."
Our heroes sneak down the alleyway and stealthily move toward the port hangars.
"There it is." Sarodhi says.
They run over to the hangar, but they soon hear a voice.
"Over there! I see em!" A trooper calls out.
"Hurry! Run!" Sarodhi runs and opens the hangar door.
For the first time we see her ship. The Centurion. It is a beautiful ship but has some battle damage.
She opens the ramp and they make their way to the ship. Not long do troopers come to the hangar and start shooting at them. Kellus ignites his lightsaber and fights them back. He forces a blast at them and the troopers fly back.
One trooper doesn't fly back and shoots Kellus in the arm. Kellus shouts out in pain, but then makes his way to the ship. Officer Von enters the hangar as the ship is leaving. He shoots a tracker onto the Centurion. The ship leaves the dock as the star destroyer above the port fires at the ship. The Centurion evades the blasts and blasts into hyperspace.
Officer Von looks to his trooper, "Inform Lord Zekko that we have fugitives on the run. They won't get far...we've got them tied to the end of a string..."
