Have a close look at the above pictures.
Doesn't it look pathetic?
Since this year 2020 started I have been seeing and hearing people curse this year and question god. I have seen people singing slogas all day and seeking help from god to end this destruction happening everyday.
Just close your eyes and think for a second .....
Why is all this happening ?
Why do we hear the news of only deaths and death?
Have you ever thought?
Let me remind you about the 10th avatar of Lord Narayana,When the kal yug reaches its peak of adharma then Lord kalki will take birth to kill this adharma and purify our land.
Well there are many who don't really believe in all these mythological phrases and so did I in the past . But if you look at it from a wider picture you will understand why the above phrases were said. You can easily connect Lord Krishna's sayings to the current scenario.
How?
Look around you, what's happening?
Yes, you're right.
HUMANITY IS DYING
We are heading towards the path of destruction and it's not god but we who are solely responsible for the happenings. Some are directly responsible and some are indirectly. All I can feel at the moment is that the end is not too far. Be it the death of a pregnant elephant in Kerala or the death of George Flyod in the US. We are not really heading in the right direction. At times I feel ashamed to have born a human, it's a curse and not a boon to be in between such inhuman people.
This reminds me of a scene from Mahabharata, a conversation between Lord Krishna and Maharathi Karna,As karna's chariot's wheel gets stuck in the mud and he tries taking it out, Lord Krishna making use of this opportunity calls him to fight with Arjun. He orders Arjun to kill Karna while the former is hesitant to do so as Karna was Ni-shastra( unarmed). Karna threatens to use the brahmastra if the battle is not fair and calls for the same but his vidya (education) is lost. He tries again and again but fails to remember. His entire knowledge and education seems to have left his side and at that time he question Lord Parashuram. Making use of this opportunity and to show Karna the reality, Lord Krishna pauses the time. He reminds Karna about Lord Parashurama's words which clearly said that " In future there will be a tough time for you when your knowledge and education will leave your side and at that time you will be bound to make a tough choice"Karna stunned by Lord Krishna's divinity tells him that he went through a lot of tough circumstances to gain this education. Being a shudra putra, he was humiliated by everyone. His talent was questioned by all.
For which Lord Krishna tells him that the pain which he went through was real but had he turned his pain into an opportunity and used his knowledge, power and education to educate the other Shudra people from his community then he would have out shined. But he didn't, in fact he sacrificed his life for Duryodhan and became a part of Draupadi's cheer haran. He chose the side of adharma.
These lines of Lord Krishna clearly applies in the current scenario of the US riots. What happened to George Flyod was not right but I am glad to see the entire US standing up together for the black community. They aren't hurting anyone but their voices have reached to each and every person around the world. They chose to stand up for their community against the police officers who brutally killed a black man. My salute to all those standing up for the right.
Another conclusion from Lord Krishna's saying is that more than the person who is doing the crime, the person who is seeing and letting that crime happen is held highly responsible. Karna wasn't the mastermind behind the cheer haran of draupadi but he was held responsible for the entire destruction of the Kuru dynasty. So those who watched George flyod die and shot his videos rather than voicing against those police officers have a bigger hand on that crime. So do those who knew that the pineapple was filled with crackers and still let that pregnant elephant have it. Shame on all of you!! You failed to stop it and rather chose to shoot videos.
Racism , caste discrimination , domestic abuses, violence, rape, religion discrimination, The Hindu- Muslim riots( since 1947) or animal hunting. I wonder where we are heading to? Really it's a sin to be a witness of the above happenings.
And as I end typing this, a wonderful line by Lord Krishna to Arjun at the kuru battle again comes to my mind.
When karna reveals to Arjun that Lord Krishna tricked him to use Lord Indra's divine asthra against Gadothkach( son of bheem) to save the latter's life. Arjun questions Lord Krishna if he actually planned to kill Gadothkach to save his life.
For which Lord Krishna says, that in this battle whose lives have to be sacrificed will be sacrificed, and those who are meant to stay alive will be alive and experience the pain. Putting forth his words in the current scenario, It feels sick and painful to witness so many inhuman activities happening right in front of my eyes. It feels like I have been cursed to watch all these inhumanity.
