Chapter 18: You'll Have to Wait and See

Ok so we all know that Connor is gay and when I heard that I though about my fanfic (well not right away). I'm NOT going to just end it and make him gay, my story will continue as planed. I support him 110% but I'm not going to change my fanfic. and sorry I haven't update in a while, I've been busy, dealing with high school shit and friend drama, and plus I didn't know what to do. Anyways.....enjoy!

BETHANY'S POV:

The drive was silent. We both sat there in Connor car. I looked out the window, then glanced at Connor. Connor sat there looking straight ahead. Connor looked so handsome in the moonlight. He know I was looking at him, which made him grin.

CONNOR'S POV:

It was a quiet drive. I saw that Bethany keep looking at me. I grinned, then quickly looked at her. She looked so beautiful in the moonlight as she gazed out the window. She broke the silence by saying...

"Can you please tell me where we are going?" I looked over at her and smiled "Nope." I said popping the P. She give me a smile back. "Aw please?" She said being cute. I looked back at the road ahead then replied " Nope, you'll just have to wait and see."

Once again, the silence returned. It wasn't awkward, it was... something I can't explain. It's like our silence was talking, and I didn't want to break it.

BETHANY'S POV:

We back to driving in silence, the good kind of silence. The kind that I hear him breath, softly and slow. I can hear the wheels rolled across the rough road. It was perfect. I can see Connor smiling,as we drove towards an old diner.

"Is this your surprise date?" I said smiling. "Yup!is it okay?" He replied. "Oh ya it is." I said. The car stopped in the small parking lot.

I was about to open my door and get when... Connor put his hand on mine. I looked at him and he give me a look. The look, the look of "I'm going to be a gentleman and open the door for you, so sit there so I can" , then I smiled and he smiled back. He got out and opened my door and smiled. uhh that smile, his smile is so PERFECT! I got out and he shut the door and we walked to the door. We got in the diner and it was quite. There was two other people there, two big guys. We sat down in a cute little booth.

The diner was so cute with its 50's theme and cotton candy pink walls with some bright blue accidents. There were some posters and light up guitars.

A waitress came over and with menus. I looked at it but I already knew what I was going to over. I opened my mouth to say that I would like a cheeseburger and fries but Connor said those words before they even came out. "Okay and you miss?" The waitress said turning to me. I smiled and looked at Connor, the back at the waitress. "The same please." I said still smiling. "Okay am to drink?" She asked. "Coca-cola please" we both said. "Okay I'll be back with them."

CONNOR'S POV:

"Soooo..." I said trying to start a conversation. "Soooo..." Bethany said cutely. "So tell me about you." I said sounding like this was a interview for a job. She giggled. "Well I'm going to school in New York and umm I have a job there too" she said.

She lives in New York!! Why is she here? Is she just here for a bit? I hope she stays for the summer. "umm Connor?" My thoughts disappear at the sound of Bethany's hushed voice. "Umm yeah.... what did you say?" I asked. "I said what about you.... tell me about you." she said with a smile. "I work with YouTube." I said. "oh so your a YouTuber?" She asked. "No but my roommates are... I do more behind the scenes work." I explained. "oh cool." Bethany said. "yeah...so.... you live in New York? Why are u here?" I asked but then a scream...
