Chapter 7: And I'm Off

BETHANY'S POV:

Why did I move to New York? Why can't I get a boyfriend? What am I going to do in California? Where does "Just Connor" live?

All I could think about is "Just Connor". Why? All my thoughts were around in my head, and then....

A sound if a car horn went off. All my thoughts disappeared and I was back to reality. I looked up and was my cab. The cab drive came out to help me with my luggage. He put it in the trunk. I got into the cab and then we were off.

Even at night, the streets of New York were still alive. Bright lights, early birds, cars, cabs and trucks. We didn't stop anywhere we went straight to the airport.

An hour later.

I was waiting for the plane. I all ready went security. I texted my mom.

Bethany: All most home!

My Mom: Are you on the plane yet?

Bethany: no I'm waiting for it

My Mom: yay my baby is coming home :D

Bethany: I love u g2g plane's here c u soon.

My Mom: okay bye Beth see you soon <3

Bethany: ❤️

I put my phone back in my bag and got out my ticket and stuff. I grabbed my carry on and walked to the door.

When I got on the plane, I put my carry on in the compartment above my seat. I got the window seat. I looked out, and the sun was raising, in a beautiful orange, yellow light, glowing bright.

I look to the seat next to me. And yay and kid was sitting next to me. A little girl I guess around 4 or 5, with blonde braids and big blue eyes. And her mom was sitting next to her, they looked like each other but the mom didn't have braids. She had long blonde hair with blue eyes.

I grabbed my bag and took out my phone and headphones. I place them on the fold out table and put my bag back on the floor. The little girl started to jump in her seat. Yay sitting beside a kid on an airplane is the best. not!

"Katy stop it!" her my mom yelled out. An Katy stopped. Good a kid who listens to her mom. That made the whole sitting beside a kid a little bit better.

After a while, I felt a kick on the back of my seat. "God no" "no" "no no no" I thought to myself. "Please don't be another kid". I turned around.

"DAMN!!!!!!!!!" I yelled in my head. There it was a little boy,with an evil smile because he knows I'm mad. I turned to who I'm guess is his mom.

"Your kid just kick my seat." I said calmly, even though I'm screaming inside. "Oh, sorry." she said in a voice that sounded like she doesn't give a fuck. "I'll tell him to stop." she said in the same voice.

He didn't! he keep kicking my seat and his mom still not giving a fuck.

My headphone were in the whole flight so I couldn't her Katy (the little girl) talking, but she keep climbing over me to see out the window.

Long story short, WORST FLIGHT EVER!!!!

Hours later.

We finally landed, and I got off. I walked over to baggage claim and grabbed my suitcase. I looked around to see if my parents were there.

"BETHANY!!!!!!!!" a voice yelled out. I turned around to see my mom running towards me, and my dad and my long time friend Lux.

Me and Lux have been friend since like grade 5. I haven't seen her in like a year, she looked so different.

"Hi mom!" I said as she hugged me.

"Hi Bethers!!!" Lux said as we hugged.

"Hi Luxers!!!" I said back.

"Hi Bethany" my dad said coming in for a hug. "I've miss you".
