Title: Retirement

Alex woke up, his hair fell over his eyes, he looked around and yawned. The brown haired Omnitrix wielder sat up and popped his neck a little bit. "So, whats sup?", Alex said putting on his glasses.

Alice smiled softly, she patted his head lightly. "Oh nothing much, just tryna fix my old computer.", she said gesturing to the computer she gotten at least four years ago

"Want me to fix it?", Alex said gesturing to the Omnitrix, which as if on instinct, activated and showed the silhouette of another humanoid alien. She shook her head.

She sighed softly and looked out onto the desert. "When Aunt Patty said she wanted to move away from it all, she really meant it.", she said with a nervous little chuckle.

"Heh, so we're just gonna stop by an old lady's house?", Alex said scratching his chin. "Sounds kinda boring if I'm gonna be honest."

Alice playfully gasped and hit him lightly. " I, like our aunt y'know."

Alex rolled his eyes a bit. "And there's nothing wrong with that.", he said smiling a bit., considering he was asleep for a little bit. They were already at the Retirement Community. "This is gonna be so boring. Their idea of excitement in this place is probably watching the grass grow.", he said as he felt a chill go up his spine.

After a few minutes, they've finally arrived to their aunt's house, which didn't look too out of the ordinary, one thing though. Alex was the first to get out but covered his eyes. "Seriously, why do old people have to live where it's so hot?", he said as he took off his jacket and showed off just a plain black shirt.

He threw it from behind and it landed on Alice's face. "Hey! Watch it!", Alice barked outside as she tossed it back into the RV. She had a devious grin once she picked something up.

Alex suddenly turned his head, as if on instinct to see Marty, his aunts neighbor. He stared at him intently before roaring like an animal and shutting the blind. " Huh, they really make you feel welcome here.", he said sarcastically as Alice shot water at his neck.

"Just watch your cheeks. Patty's a pincher.", the muscular elderly man said as he walked past his grandson.

Finally his aunt opened the door. Surprisingly enough, she looked like she was in her fifties, her light Grey hair was tied up in a bun. "Max!", she greeted her little brother.

"Patty.", Max responded with a little smile as Patrica went over and hugged Alice

"I can't believe you're finally here.", Patty said as she started pinching her cheeks. "And look at you two. So grown up!", she finally let go of Alice's hurt cheeks. Patricia did the same to Alex.

She stood back up and bore a bright smile on her face. "Come on in. I can't wait to chew the fat with all of you.", Patty said as she welcomed them into her lovely little house... which smelt like socks.

A few minutes later, the four of them were busy eating some gelatin mold. Which was a pinkish hue in color and had some brown and white chunks in it. "Oh, Patrica, this is delicious. Now, what are these brown chunks in the mold?", considering Max has an odd taste in food, he doesn't find it bad.

"Pork chops. And the white parts are cauliflower.", Patricia was glad her little brother was apprentice of her cooking. She looked towards Alex. "So, Alex, what have you been doing so far this summer?"

"Eh, nothing too out of the ordinary honestly.", Alex said with a little shrug. Something had caught Alice's eyes, which was an obvious cue considering she looks at something intently.

"Aunt Vera, is that a stuffed red-billed North American Chickadee?", Alice said pointing to one of the stuffed modeled animals on her shelf.

"Ohh! How perceptive, Alice. And did you know the song of the red-billed North American Chickadee is actually...", Alice smiled as soon as Patrica said that.
