Chapter 16

Title: Death Match

The sounds of fighting were heard somewhere in a wind farm, In the street, Grandpa Max and Alice are semi-conscious inside the overturned RV.

Then suddenly a fire blast was shot out. Before two figures zipped across the area, they were Rush and Derek 11, who was proving to be easy to catch up with.

The two zipped around the area at high speeds, before stopping as Derek 11 shot out a barrage of crystal shards, which Rush dodged with minimal movements. The two charged at each other, with one throwing a barrage of punches that being Derek 11 and one dodging/blocking that being Rush. Suddenly, one of the Vulpinmancer arms grabbed Rush by the ankle and threw him into a windmill.

He laughed. "You are one sorry sight, Rush boi," Derek 11 said, attempting to make a jab at the name but failing, until Alex turned into Cold Soar.

"Hope you don't mind a hail storm!" Cold Sor said as he threw a fired out his nitrogen breath, which caused Derek 11 to stop laughing and dodge. "Have you looked in the mirror lately?" Cold Soar said cockily.

"It's payback time for turning me into this freak!" the horrific amalgamation of Aliens originating from the Omnitrix spat out with venom in his tone.

"You were always a freak Derek, now the ugly is on the outside," Cold Soar said mockingly, before Devin snickered.

"Diss me all you'd like Tennant, but I'm still ten times better than you. I've got all your powers! Plus my own! I'm Derek 11!!!" Derek 11 said as he shot diamond shards from his Petrosapian arm.

Cold Soar slapped the Omnitrix emblem, and transformed into Diamondbreaker. Who just caught one shard, while the others shattered upon hitting him. "Too bad all those aliens are only a tenth as power as mine."  Before Diamondbreaker can counterattack, Derek spits Lepidopterran slime in his face to blind him. "Oh this is just gross!" He said as it kinda felt like oatmeal.

Derek 11 then carries him up to the air, then drops him, knocking one of the wind turbines over. Diamondbreaker responds by throwing the turbine's blades at Derek, causing him to fall down into the ground hard. "That all you got bitch?" Diamondbreaker said, popping his knuckles.

"Not even close Tennant!" Derek 11 said as they charged at each other. Suddenly, a red beam appears from above, enshrouding them and they seem to disappear.

Alice and Max finally were able to get out of the RV, and looked on. "Alex?" Alice cocked her eyebrow, confused to where he had gone to.

In a dark room, the red beam releases Diamondbreaker and a spotlight hits him. "Where the hell am I?" the Petrosapian said looking around.

"Challenger?" Diamondbreaker cocked an eyebrow intrigued as the lights had turned on, showing him to be in a fighting arena, complete with a variety of alien spectators.

While Diamondbreaker is distracted by his unfamiliar surroundings and situation, a droid rolls up behind him. And unfolded to have two arms and two skinny legs. "Huh," Diamondbreaker wasn't threatened in the slightest. Before it unfolded two scythe-like blades.

The large droid quickly attempted to get in a overhead slash at the Petrosapian, who skillfully flipped out of the way, and dodged another pair of arms.

Viewed from overhead, the arena is separated in sections, each containing fighters against a similar droid. The Petrosapian leapt at the droid and ripped its arm off before tossing it aside, he blocked with his left arm, and he looked in shock as it went a little deeper than he thought. "Alright then, let's play." Diamondbreaker said as he created sharp crystal lance as he lunged at the droid, dodging another slash as he stabbed right in the center of it and ripped it in half. "All too easy."
