Chapter 5

Title: Tourist Shock

Alex sits there in the booth of the RV, tapping his feet aggressively with an expression of annoyance on his face, why? Easy, some red headed brat was making stupid faces at him. "Alex, just ignore it man.", Alice said patting his head lightly. Alex looked over to see the kid in the other car then decides to eat his hamburger and shows it all chewed up to.

"Oh gross.", Alex said as he slid down underneath the table, a green flash erupted as Parasyte popped back up and roared at them. Instead of continuing the game, the kid is frightened by him, as well as the car driver, who notices the alien. The kid's father floors it to get away as fast as possible. Parasyte began laughing as it turned into sludge and slithered underneath the table.

"That was a bit... far.", Alice said kind of disturbed by his weird creativity as Alex was just laughing a bit.

"Oh please, the little shit got what he deserved.", Parasyte said as he was suddenly sent flying towards the front.

"Oh good, you're already transformed.", Max said looking down at Parasyte who morphed back into his humanoid form, Alice joined the two. "We got trouble ahead.", Max said as he pointed out why he suddenly stopped, it was a turned over propane truck with a truck next to it, also turned on its side, there was a sudden spark as the man trapped inside kept beating on the glass. "If that propane he's hauling catches fire, that truck'll become a rocket to the moon."

"Mmhmm.", the Klyntar said with a little bit of what looked like a smug expression before turning serious and slithering out of the RV. He looked at the flames and calculated how he'd go about it. "Let's see.", he nodded as he transformed into Hotshot, absorbed the flames and back into Diamondbreaker. He leapt up and ripped through the roof. "Good evening.", he said as he pulled the trucker up, leapt out and placed him to the ground.

"Oh no, don't thank me.", the shapeshifter said slightly annoyed, before he noticed the kid from before, he decided to switch to Mach Manta and fly off to somewhere safe for him to time out.

A few minutes later, the RV was back on the road again. With Alice reading a sign: "You'll have a ball with IT. The hell?"

"Could you at least give us a hint of what IT is?", Alex said slightly intrigued by this IT.

"Nope, it's a surprise. So no hints.", Max said with a little smile on his old yet chiseled face. A while later the RV stopped, and the tall old man was the first to get out and open the door. "Alright you two, get out and close your eyes.", he said as the two did as told. "Alright, open em up!"

The two opened their eyes only to see a sign that say's Welcome to Sparksville. Which they learn that they're visiting a place called which is a town that's nothing but exhibits for tourist. "Hah, I kinda like the little novelty.", surprisingly Alex said with crossed arms.

"I'll take anything other than this.", Alice said not the slightest bit entertained.

"Ah c'mon, what's more exciting then the worlds biggest fishbowl?", Max said with some type of childlike look in his eyes, something they haven't seen from him before.

"Basically everything.", Alice and Alex said with a little shrug.

"As the Mayor of Sparksville, I welcome you. Oh seekers of wonder.", the Mayor said with an emotionless tone. The Mayor was a white pale caucasian man with brown hair and peach fuzz on his chin. He wears a grey blue suit and pants with a white dress shirt and a white belt. He has a black handkerchief and wears a string bowtie.

"I'll let you guys go see IT, in the meantime, I'll check us in the Motel.", Max said giving them Tickets to IT, before walking off.

With nothing better to do, the kids decide to go around and start seeing the exhibits. They first visit the jackalope, and the mayor is there, who doubles as the ticket collector. "Tickets please.", the Mayor said putting on a Grey hat with an Eagle on it.
