CHAPTER 7- A CONDITION

Sien's POV before the miracle happened. Haha.

As soon as I went home, I went straight to my room, put down my bag, at kinuha ang gitara ko while my cat, Tata, approaches me. Siya lang at sya lamang dapat ang meron ako. One thing that comforts me the most is writing songs. It hella gets things out from me.

Gusto ko rin ang kumakanta, ofcourse none of my family knows that, as if. I've been playing guitar since I was 11. My grandfather gave me this guitar he used to play when he was young. Hindi na enjoy ni kuya yon but I did. Masyado kasi syang slow learner.

I sighed and put down some lyrics inside my head on my notebook pero napagod ako and I just spent the whole afternoon sleeping with my uniform on.

Nagising ako around 6:00 pm realizing I didn't have lunch that I got so hungry waking up. Narinig ko si dad sa baba na kakauwi palang galing sa company. Nagbihis na ako at bumaba para kumain sa anumang restaurant nearby or maybe a convenience store. When I was about to open the door , dad said...

"Tumawag sakin ang teacher mo saying you violated some rule."

Hindi na lamang ako tumingin sa kanya. He then suddenly threw a card on a table infront of me.

"Make use of it." sabi nya tapos dumiretso sa opisina nya sa bahay.

Okay then.

What he meant for that card was for me to buy a new school skirt. It's too much for a skirt but I'll surely make use of it.

Lumakad na ako para maghanap ng restaurant o convenience store na makakainan ko. I had no other choice dahil wala akong gana sa mga nakikita ko kaya pumunta nalang ako sa favorite kong restaurant. Dito lang talaga ako hindi nagsasawa. Mahal dito pero marami akong naging paborito dito sa point na namimiss ko minsan yong food dahil iba sya at authentic pa. I went inside at pumunta sa usual spot ko by the corner. Good thing hindi ako naunahan dito. I ordered a bunch of my faves, na realized ko na it's a bit too much for me but who cares I'm using dad's card anyway (na akin na pala) at gutom ako. Ang sabi lang naman nya ay make use of it, walang sinabing isauli ko pagkatapos bumili ng school skirt. Medyo nagtataka yung waiter sa akin dahil nag-iisa lang ako tapos ang dami pa ng inorder ko. Nagworry pa sya di ba pwedeng take out ang iba.

It didn't really took awhile and my meal already came. Ang bilis naman, nilagay lang ba nila ang pagkain sa microwave?! Bahala na nga, kung ma lason edi malason. I took some bites from each of them but nothing happened so buhay pa ako...

While eating, I saw someone familiar going in the same resto and it's that annoying new boy with his family, I guess. I didn't mind and care kasi sino ba naman sya. Tsk, pumatak na naman sa isip ko ang nangyari kanina sa school. Well, embrace mo nalang sarili mo new boy dahil marami ka pang makikitang unforgettable moments sa akin.

I just ate peacefully not minding things going on around me. Hindi ko maubos ang kinakain ko dahil medyo nagtatagal na ako dito. May bibilhin pa kasi ako. I just asked them to wrap it up at i take out ko nalang so that I can enjoy it on my way home. I went outside the resto with my packed meal at may bata namang sumalubong sa akin saying she's very hungry and she wanted my food. I just handed her my food without even looking at her dahil ayaw kong magregret sa mga binigay kong paborito at dumiretso na ako papuntang pet store sa unahan to buy my Tata some cat foods.

On my way home, I just filled some thoughts in my mind about what happened today at school. Dito ako usually pumupunta dahil malapit lang sa bahay namin at nandito pa ang paborito kong resto at may pet store pa sa unahan. I kept thinking and walking with earphones on my ears until I reached before the crossroads. I didn't even know the pedestrian light was on already pero na punta na ang mga paa ko don and cars were honking loudly while I'm still figuring out what was happening.
