CHAPTER 10- WONDER

SIEN'S POV

I'm vibin' on a rollercoaster but the wheels aren't there sometimes.
I wish I could just go and fly away.
I wish to be on the top of the mountains but the ground never stays too still. I hope there'd be a trail down the road.

When I realized what the song he was singing is, I suddenly stopped. A memory of me suddenly flashed. It was the song I made 3 years ago. It was the first song I posted on Youtube. A lyric video only. How the heck did he know that? Possible ba to?

"Why the f*ck do you know that song?" tanong ko sa kanya. How is this even possible.

"Ah nakita ko lang sa Youtube dati eh, akala ko kasi lyric video ng hinanap kong kanta kaya napindut ko yon dahil pareho ng title sa hinahanap ko but when I listened to it for a while, nagandahan ako and I've been listening to it ever since, ang deep kasi ng meaning." sagot nya

I was just speechless.

"First time ko pa narinig yon kaya chineck ko ang description at may nakalagay na 'first song' so I assumed that person composted it at chineck ko pa channel nya at may iba pa syang songs, maganda rin pero dito talaga ako na stuck sa 'Shallow'."

Wala pa rin akong reaksyon at sinasabi dahil sa shock ko. I remembered I posted 10 songs in total at hindi na ako nagpost pa ever since mom died.

"Kaso hindi na sya nagpost ng another-" he stopped when he noticed I just remained not saying a word at nakatalikod pa rin sa kanya while my eyes were on the ground.

"Okay ka lang ba? Ayaw mo ba sa kanta? Ah sorry. "

"Time's running. Ang daldal mo."

Bakit sya na naman.

Paalis na sana ako kaso may sinasabi na naman ang hayop na to.

"Ah Sien, I just want you to know na kahit hindi mo pa ginawa to, hindi ko parin sasabihin sa lahat na tayo yon about what happened that night. I'm not that kind of person at hindi ko rin magagawa sayo yon. But still, thank you." sabi nya.

Jerkass. He tricked me.

It took me a while to react or say something, because I was still stuck on what he said. Why is he suddenly being so sincere right now?

Hindi nalang ako nagrespond at iniwan na sya don.

VINCENT'S POV

Hindi man lang nag 'You're welcome.' or ' welcome' man lang or 'np' at marami raaaami pang options. Well, what do you expect Hahahah. Anyway, I'm glad that happened, I knew she can handle it. Kahit area names lang sinasabi nya sa akin marami pa rin naman akong natutunan sa kanya so hindi na talaga ako masyadong malilito sa school ngayon.

Here I am on my bed with my uniform still on, thinking about what happened earlier. Natapos na pala ni Tita Rose ang uniform ko and it's perfectly done. Skl.
