This picture was from a friend, M_Lynx. Who coincidentally is writing about her dreams she has had too. Ok just a little reminder/review of where we last left off. Hailey is in a small room sit in in front of the lady who captured them. The lady was asking Hailey questions. The chapter ended with the lady saying, "What a shame you were such a smart girl."
~Hailey’s Pov~
I squirm a little in my seat, ok now I’m uncomfortable. I would ask her to repeat herself but I don't think I want to hear it.
"Umm cou-" the lights go out before I could finish my sentence. Red emergency lights come on in the room. It is still really dark, the door behind me opens with a bang hitting the wall. Beth gets up quickly and I turn around in my seat. The man that took me into the room was standing there with a panicked look.
Beth's heel clicked on the ground as she walked over to the door. They both left locking the door. What is wrong with this place? Are they keeping monsters here or something? I hear running and armor clanking behind the door.
A sound of a huge bird screeching was followed by a man screaming. In the man's mid-scream a snapping noise broke off his scream. No doubt that man is dead. I heard another man scream but the scream got closer to the door. He was running away.
A scraping sound was coming towards the door. Oh sh*t I run to the other side of the room and sit in a corner. Not a second after I do huge black talons impaled the door. The talons ripped the door off, revealing a big crow. I hid my head inside my hoodie.
The ground shook violently, the crow screeches, and its talons scrapes against the ground. Looking up I see the doorway is empty. Yes! I get up and walk to the door. Peaking around to see if the hallway is empty. Seeing big black feathers going one way, I take off the other way.
Good thing there wasn't very many doors. I open the first door in my view, nothing. All the doors I open are just small rooms like the one I was in. After 10 mins and five doors, I find a metal door, and behind the door was clanking sounds. It was pitch black inside when I opened it. The clanking sounds stopped. I turn on the light switch.
There he was halfway chained to the wall. The chains were still on him, but his right arm chain and right leg chain were yanked off the wall. Just as I was going over to him, a familiar screeching echoed right behind me. In a split second, Isaac's head jerks up and from far away it seemed like his eyes are completely black. His face was blank, emotionless.
Good place to stop, no? I got the bird idea from Bioshock Infinite, even though in bioshock the bird was robotic and more human. Bye ~(^.^)~
