~No one's PoV~
Four gash marks rip down her arm when she blocked the attack that was heading for her face. Hailey fell down from the blow in the process.The pain was unbearable her arm felt like it was on fire, but there was no time for thinking about the pain she needed to get away.
“Well aren’t we a quick one. But I’m afraid you are a little too slow.” The monster cheerfully said. Hailey scoots backward on the ground trying to get some distance in between her and him. The monster noticed and started walking slowly to her.
“Where are you going, dear?” She just stares at him and doesn’t say anything. “What’s wrong? Cat got your tongue?” Hailey’s back hits a tree and it makes her jump in surprise, the monster laughs.
“Please leave me alone, I didn’t do anything.” Hailey whispers.
“Sorry dearie, but putting you in danger will make the angel come out here and save you. It has been so long since he showed his true colors.”
“So if he comes here you will let me go?”
“If only it was that simple. I’m afraid he will be too late to save you, I am a demon after all.” He gets ready to strike a final blow. She braces herself again but suddenly Axel bites down on the demon’s arm growling. The demon shrieks with pain, grabs Axel by the neck, and throws Axel behind him. Axel’s body hits a tree and falls to the ground.
“Axel!!” Hailey screams, Axel doesn’t move, she gets up to run over to him. The demon turns around and grabs her by the throat. It lifts her up off the ground while she struggles for air. Hailey tries to kick him but can’t reach. The demon stands there and smiles watching.
*BOOM*
The sound of thunder made the demon drop Hailey, she gasps holding her throat. They both look over at where the sound came from. They see a figure crouched down with a pair of beautiful black wings spread out to its full length. The figure stands up and the wings fold up behind its back. It was a man who looked pissed.
“So you finally decided to show up.” The demon yells. Hailey adjusted her eyes a little more and noticed who it was…
