"Are you crazy?" Hailey says.
Isaac shrugs "A little."
He goes over to the men laying on the ground, picks up their guns, and throw them on the couch. Then he turns to Hailey and stretches out his hand, "Ready to go?"
"Go where, and what makes you think I want to go somewhere with you?"
"Well by the looks of it you don't have anywhere else to go."
"Umm... can I ask you something first?"
"Sure go ahead."
"Do those wings work? Also why are you on earth?"
"Oh my wings work but when I was captured by those people they clipped my wings. When wings are clipped it takes several months to grow back, luckily I have been imprisoned for several months. So in a day or so I can fly again."
After a long silence Hailey speaks up.
"What about my second question?"
"No time for that. People might come back to check on these two."
He puts his hand out for a second time. "Ready?"
Hailey is not sure if she should trust him, but she grabs his hand anyway. Isaac leads the way over the unconscious men out the door and looks around for somewhere to go. Hailey stumbles and starts to fall but she lands into Isaac, when he turned around to catch her, he looks down at her "You alright?" She blushes, turns her head, and mumbles "yeah."
He steps out the door and looks around.
He sighs "I don't know which way to go."
"How about we stop at my old house and grab some supplies?"
"Ok, do you know which way it is?"
"Yeah it is that way." Hailey points north.
"Well let’s go."

They get to Hailey's house and are standing a yard away from it. The house is old and needs a new layer of paint. Most of the porch floor is gone except for a path to the door. Hailey's house is the only house around for miles.
"My dad is almost never home. He is always working or at the bar getting drunk." Hailey says.
"Well that's good, it just means we can get the stuff we need and get out."
