Ethereal Pov.
It had been a few hundred years since she had brought Aaravos to the new world, they had been living peacefully in there castle surrounded by mountains. They had managed to use the magic from the Arcanum's to evolve some of this worlds base animals into creatures from their world like the Twin-Tailed Inferno-Tooth Tiger, Shadowpaw, Moonstrider, Moonphoenix, Ambler, and one of Ethereal' s favorites the Adoraburrs. We lived within a mountain range in the north surrounded by...well mountains with a paradise protected at the center of the icy wasteland where it was warm all year round and always green. We had built our home hear and although we kept a watch on the outside world we had yet to leave our sanctuary to explore. We had decided to hold off on a family until we where sure that the world was safe for our child and currently Aaravos and I could feel a vile magic stirring in the world that made even Dark magic seem pure. Aaravos had tried to glimpse the future using the Star Arcanum but had only gotten glimpse of an old man coming to our home then flashes of a group of nine people plus ourselves along side them standing in a group of Hobbits, Humans, a Dwarf, an Elf, and the same old man that comes to seek us out. He had also gotten another glimpse of the group climbing a snow covered mountain before the vision was cut off, it had worried us but the stars had never failed us before. Aaravos has set up a magic spell that would warn us if anyone entered the mountains around our home so that we could be prepared when the old man arrived, we had already packed our stuff and warned our mounts to be ready at a moments notice so that we cold leave when needed.
"Aaravos." I called out into the empty living room from where I sat on the couch.
"Yes love?" Aaravos appeared before me, wearing his cloak, before sitting down beside me and pulling me into his chest as he leaned back on the couch, I began to trace the star on his exposed chest, all though we had changed worlds we favored the clothes from our own although if we had to chose from this worlds clothes the elves had a similar taste in clothing to our world.
"I'm worried, I can feel that dark magic growing and it's revolting." I whispered, I felt Aaravos bring his hand up and gently run his fingers though my hair at the base of my scull. I gave a gentle hum as I closed my eyes relaxing in my lovers arms.
"The best thing we can do now is try to prepare for any posable outcome. You don't need to worry, no matter what, it doesn't matter what I need to sacrifice I will protect you, I wont loose you again." I could here the growl in Aaravos's voice as he clutched his fingers into my hair and gently pulled my head into his chest where he kissed the top of my head carful to avoid my horns.
"Aaravos," He hummed gently with his head resting lightly atop my own. "When this little adventure is over, lets start our family." Aaravos jerked his head back gazing down at his mate with wide eyes before they softened before fully closing and a soft smile washed over his face.
"Alright, lets start our family once this is over." He agreed I tilted my head up my eyes closed with a soft smile while Aaravos placed a soft kiss on my head.
We where jolted out of our thoughts when a soft wave of magic washed over us. I looked at Aaravos with furrowed brows he gently rubbed my forehead with his thumb smoothing out the skin with a smirk before it faded as he lifted his hand in front of us and created a swirling ball of magic that began to show an image of an old man trekking through the snow huddled in a cloak that the fierce winds threatened to rip from him.
"Looks like it's time." I said with a sigh. Aaravos closed his fist causing the magic to dissipate before he wrapped his arms around me.
"We'll be fine love."
Gandalf Pov.
I struggled through the snow as I made my way up the northern mountain range, over the recent hundred years or so myths and legends had began to spread about the mountain range holding creatures that had never been be seen before, creatures of magic and beauty, apparently people had also caught glimpses of two human shaped beings though the smaller one seemed to have a deformity on its back. Some said they where spirits of people who had died in the mountains, others said it was dark magic, but several accounts of people who wandered to far into the mountains and got lost and just when their about to freeze to death a silhouette of a beautiful woman with hair and eyes of liquid gold surrounded by a golden glow. They recounted having heard strange words before they felt warm and they suddenly appeared in their houses like nothing ever happened though they still wore their dirty and ragged clothes and that was the only thing they had to prove that it hadn't been a dream. No one had ever been harmed so nobody saw any reason to go and either find out or remove the new beings from the mountains.
Gandalf himself had never thought much of it but with the One ring at risk of winding up in the possession of the dark lord they needed all the allies they could get and if these people where as strong as they seemed to be, then they could make potential allies.
I let out a sigh and watched as my breath take the form of a cloud that was quickly shredded apart by the wind, I had been wandering the mountain for a while trying to find this people or hoping they would appear before me of their own accord. I was ready to give up soon, after all I wasn't as young as I used to be. Just as I was fixing to head back I saw a shimmer before me but it quickly faded. I walked in the direction that I had seen it I hadn't taken more than a few steps when I came across a cave in the mountain side. I saw a light at the end of the tunnel, I debated on whether to go down it or not when a warm breeze carried an odd sent form the direction of the light.
"Well it couldn't hurt to see where it leads, after all why would there be a warm breeze in a cave on a frozen mountain." I spoke to myself before making my way down the tunnel making sure to keep my hand on the wall to help guide me. As I drew closer to the end of the tunnel a sweet smell hit me in the face carried on a gentle breeze, after I ha walked for a good two minutes or so I finally reached the end, when I stepped out of the tunnel I was instantly blinded by an intense light causing me to throw my hand up to shield my eyes. A strange sound and the ground trembling beneath my feet in rhythmic beets had me binging my hand down to see what was going on in the world around me. What I saw had me stumbling back and falling on my butt with my staff clattering on the ground beside me as the largest creature I had ever seen walked past me.
