(This is Aaravos if there is any who don't know him or need a refresher, I don't own any of this except Oc and any plot twists or changes.)

3rd person Pov.

Aaravos stood before the dragon queen broken and defeated, he had not been able to accomplish the goal he had set out to do the day he was locked in the mirror.

An enormous ring of beings of all king stood around the Startouched elf and dragon queen, there where humans from all the kingdoms, all kinds of elves, dragons, and all manor of Xadian creatures, and every one of them glared at the elf in the center of the circle.

A Skywing elf stepped forward to stand next to the dragon queen, "Are you ready to be punished for the crimes you have committed and the lives that have been lost for your greed?"

Aaravos's head snapped from the dragon queen to the elf causing him to flinch at the ferocity in his eyes. "Greed!" Aaravos snarled. This time everyone flinched back, even during battle they had never seen him angry, only snarky or calm and maybe even a little mocking, but never angry. "You speak as if I do this so that I may rule Xadia or the human kingdom , you speak as if I want to do this for power or for my own self interest." His glare swept over the crowed, and although they where terrified by his new show of emotions he had caught their interest, every one of them had thought he desired power and that, that was why he was doing this, but if he didn't desire those then why did he act the way he did? "You should ask your queen why I chose to do what I did, after all she and her bastered of a mate are the cause of all of this, all the death, all the ciaos, all of my pain and anger!" Aaravos leaned forward and snarl on his face as he glared at the queen who flinched back, as the others looked to the dragon queen they could see the guilt in her eyes and the hesitance to voice what he spoke of, and that only cause the curiosity of the others to grow, she clearly new what of which he spoke of, so why was she so hesitant to tell them? "Tell them!" Aaravos shouted now struggling against the bonds that kept his hands bound behind his back. "Tell them of how you and your mate murdered my lover, my mate, just because she was a powerful elf and the last of her kind, the last of a great race of elves that have long since been forgotten along with the Arcanum they where connected with, and after you murdered my mate you then proceeded to imprison me in that god forsaken mirror so that no one would find out what you did and because you feared that my power would grow to a point that it would surpass the King and Queen of dragons! If you had left us be my mate and I would be living happily with our children and exploring the worlds wonders, we would never have had a reason for this war to start. Did you know that at the time that you murdered my mate she was with child? We where going to be a family." Everyone looked to the queen and they could see the deep guilt and sadness increase when he asked the question that broke everyone's hearts. Aaravos's eyes widened as he looked into the eyes of the female dragon. "You new! By the stars above, you new! You new she was with child and you still proceeded to murder not only her but our child as well!" Aaravos's rage had surged but so had his grief, he dropped to his knees tears that had been seen in his eyes where now pouring down his starry cheeks as he sobbed into the ground where he had doubled over in his grief.

His heart wrenching sobs brought tears to the surrounding being eyes, and although they could never forgive his for what he had done, they at least now new that it had not been done out of greed, though they may never look at the dragon queen the same way again.

"I will put you out of you misery." The dragon queen spoke but it did no good, Aaravos was completely oblivious to the world around him as his grief washed over his again and again like tidal waves, he had not felt the pain of lose so raw since when he first lost the woman he loved, the queen of dragons looked down at the broken elf below he with sorrow and grief, she new the pain of loosing a mate and child and perhaps that was the havens way of showing her exactly what kind of pain her mate and she had caused this elf when they had stolen two innocent lives and ruined another, casting him into the shadows of pain, misery and hate. She began to draw power from the Sky Arcanum as she prepared to do the kindest thing she could for the elf below her in an attempt to ease his pain that she had caused. Just as she fired her thunder bolt an intense flash of golden light blinded the onlooking creatures. When the light faded Aaravos was gone and a single familiar gold feather laid on the ground, while the others began to disperse assuming that the flash of gold had something to do with the queens magic, while the queen her self just watched as the feather faded away in gold dust with soft eyes before softly calling out.

"I'm so sorry for the pain we have caused you...
