In the chapter 18 cover omake, it was revealed that his trademark bandaid that he wears on his nose was chosen by Tecchou as his form of disguise before he infiltrated the Mafia and that Jouno had stated it would act as his "switch" (bandaid on is Mafia and off is Hunting Dog) that would one day mentally protect him while doing his job. Harukawa also chose to add bandaids on Tachihara's Hunting Dog sword's hilt on the cover of volume 17 and on the back of the cover of volume 18 to further hint and symbolize his true identity as a mafioso.
