Thea's POV

I woke up with the sound of the birds chirping like an alarm clock. The sun rays kissed my face to help me feel awake, I stretched and did my morning routine.

After that, I headed down to the kitchen and was welcomed with the amazing scent of breakfast. Grumble~ Ohh, looks like I'm hungry already. I went to the table and was greeted by Kaity, Dan, Pochi, and Tama.

"Good morning, Thea!" Dan said with a smile.

"Oh! Good morning, Thea!" Kaity said while cooking breakfast.

"Good morning, Thea-chan!!" Pochi said while hugging me.

"Mornin'!" Tama said with a just-woke voice while rubbing his eyes.

I greeted them back with a happy voice.

"Good morning, sister Kaity, Dan, Pochi, Tama!" With a big smile on my face. Breakfast was ready! Leo also joined us at the table.

"Thank you for the meal!!" We all said in unison as we ate our meal. And then I was reminded of something......

"Brother, now tell me are you a royal?" I looked at Leo with curious eyes. Then everyone smiles and looks at me. Are they gonna eat me?

"I guess it's time to tell her...." Kaity said looking at Pochi and Tama.

'Tell me what? That their real royalty!'

"Agreed!" Pochi and Tama said at the same time then looked at Leo.

"Yes, Thea. We are royals," Leo said to me but I'm still confused, why are they animals?

"How?" I asked still confused as to why are they animals.

"Well, we are the children of the King and Queen of Winkle, the lost kingdom. If you're wondering why we are animals... Before when Winkle and Wistalia had war against each other. Winkle lost, and after the war, the kingdom of Winkle vanished like thin air. Along with the King and Queen. Leaving us, we fled to the enchanted forest." He said looking at Kaity to continue.

"When we arrived there, a white light appeared in front of us saying "The Enchanted Forest has found its new owners." Then it disappeared the next thing we knew we were glowing then for a couple of seconds a scroll fell and that's when we noticed that we were creatures." Kaity ended up letting Pochi talk.

"It said "Hello there, I have turned you into mystical beings. You are now the new owners of the enchanted forest. If you want to go back to human form just chant [shapeshift]. Don't show people that you can shapeshift only the ones you trust. Only you can shapeshift, the rest of the animals can't but since you are creatures as well you'll be able to understand them. Bye-bye!" Yeah! So this was our home now." Pochi smiled.

"We don't age here nor die," Tama said with a happy tone.

"That was a lot of explanation but at least I understand now. But seriously your royals, that is so cool!!!!" I said while giggling. Then all of us laughed and ate our meal happily.

After breakfast, I had nothing to do since my magic lessons would start again tomorrow. So I went back to my room to read a book. I liked it, it was peaceful and quiet. You know, this is the perfect time to tell you more about my past life.
