Time skip: 3 years

Three years have now passed and Thea is officially 11. The past few years were fun, she got to spend time with her family and often visits the Enchanted Forest. 

They have also been planning for the war that would happen. They spotted monsters and demons making their move.

They trained the soldiers and built underground basements for women, children, and older citizens. All the men in the kingdom were to join the battle. They needed all the help they could get.

Since Thea is OP, you might be thinking 'Can't she just kill them in one go?'. Well to answer your question, if she were to use her Destruction magic it would backfire cause their enemies also use black magic.

Right now, the battle would occur 2 days from now.

Thea and her family are now planning attacks and asked all the healers to gather. They needed as many healers as they could.

Thea is worried and scared. What happens if her family dies? Or her friends? The people?

She's been having those trains of thought for the past years. She's always caring for other people but......

She hasn't been caring for herself but one thing is for sure.

She sacrifices herself and that's final.

Thea's POV

Today, the village was quiet, the Kingdom was quiet. Footsteps and clanging of swords and armor could be heard.

The war has finally come. Soldiers are armed, we are armed. My family to my right and my friends to my left.

We were quiet. Footsteps of our enemies could be heard. They're getting closer and closer.

We finally see them. They came to a halt. We stared at each other for a good long time.

"Let the war..." I whispered and readied my magic and sword. My breathing was a little heavy.

"BEGIN!" I shouted and declared war to start.

I cast my bubble magic and enveloped some monsters. Their blood started splattering everywhere. Swords clashed together. Screams and shouts filled the air.

I made a thunder strike and our enemies were killed but only 1/4 of them. There was a bountiful number of our enemies.

If I were to say, we were outnumbered but we have an advantage because of our magic and my magic.

I created bombs and dropped them on our enemies. I made plants grow from the ground and wrapped them around the enemies. I was drenched in blood. Everywhere, pools of blood, there was no telling if our enemies had been defeated. They kept coming and coming.

I made crystal particles appear and formed them into daggers. I sliced and beheaded them with no mercy. The war lasted for several hours. We were all tired, I had a few broken bones.

The final boss has arrived. It was bigger than me and taller than all of us. It slaughtered some of our soldiers. Injured some of our men. I had a broken leg and I had no time to heal it.

The boss spotted me and waved its sword and was about to slash me when... My father blocked it.

"NOOOO!!!" I froze at the sight I witnessed. Blood flew, and my father coughed blood.

I felt my world stop, my bright eyes turned dull. My rose mark and eyes glowed brighter than ever. I was raging and gave out a murderous aura.

I went to my father, his wound wasn't severe. I quickly tried to heal my father, I didn't bother to heal my injury. After healing him I looked at father and smiled as softly as I could.

"Thank you... for everything." Every inch of my body was hurting. My father held my hand but I removed my hand from his grip.

"Dear, what are you doing?" I stood up not even bothering the pain on my broken leg. I charged at him without thinking twice.

"THEA, NOO!" I could hear them but I ignored them.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered, tears streaming down my face. Their shouts grew louder but I continued to ignore them.

This time and only this time will I be selfish.

I combined all my elements as one onto my sword and with one final blow...I finished him.

In the process, his sword was piercing through my stomach. I vomited blood and started to get dizzy.

The war finally ended and my body fell along with my tears. The boss was defeated and the monsters were gone. Someone caught my falling body.

I tried to open my heavy eyes, I saw a pair of bright golden eyes. Water droplets fell on my face.

His hands were warm along with his tears. I looked in the other direction, I saw my father, Edwin, Obi, Louis, and Nathan all bloody, there were also magic healers with them.

"Why did you do that?" Their voices were hoarse. I can't help but make a bitter laugh. My heart started to ache.

I used all of my remaining strength to talk and open my eyes weakly.

"I sacrificed myself for you guys..." I said while coughing blood.

"W-Why?" Tears rolled down their faces.

"Because I love you..." My eyesight started to get dark and I eventually closed my eyes.
