Thea's POV
TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!! We're having a small party with my family and friends.
My cousins are coming and mom said I could invite my friends so I invited Ian, Edwin, Obi, Louis, and Nathan.
I tried to invite my girl friends but they said that they were busy, some were going to travel too.
We are setting up for the party and I'm helping with decorating.
Third Persons POV
Thea doesn't know who she is and where she is at.
Thea was smiling all happy with her previous family, her current family and friends were all drained.
Their days were dull. They were skinny and had bags under their eyes. They never left Thea's room only if they were to sleep, eat or go to the bathroom. It's been a year already and she hasn't woken up.
The only thing in their minds were these words.
"Thea, please wake up!"
(A/N: I will be using Angel, for now, just remember Angel and Thea are one person >0<)
After decorating they set the table with food, desserts, and cake. Angel's cousins and friends have arrived.
"Happy Birthday, Angel!" They all chimed.
"Thank you, everyone!" She thanked them with a wide grin. Her five cousins who are siblings smiled.
They didn't bring any gifts with them and Angel didn't even notice. She doesn't care about gifts, so it was alright.
They played games and told funny stories and eventually, it was time to eat dinner.
"Yummy~" Angel praised while chewing on chicken and rice. They laughed seeing Angel at her state.
"Dear, it's time to cut the cake!" Her dad said while holding a knife.
"Hooray!!" Angel said and grabbed the knife from her dad. Her dad was surprised and afraid she might cut herself but she wasn't so he sighed in relief.
She cut the cake and got a slice. She cut more slices and distributed them.
"Happy Birthday to me!" She took a bite and was smiling insanely.
"Yum!!" She praised again with glittering eyes. The others laughed at her silly face.
The day is over and Angel is happy. Her family and friends can't help but feel happy too.
Thea's POV
"Are you having fun, dear?" My mom asked.
"Yes!" I replied happily. This is the happiest I've been. I hope this never ends. I looked over to their side. They are all sitting across from me. For a split second their appearance changed, I quickly rubbed my eyes to see if I was not daydreaming.
"We're glad you're having fun but..." Mom paused and looked at dad.
"This isn't your world anymore." Dad gave a sad smile. What? I don't understand what's happening.
"Your world is somewhere out there," Ian said with a sad smile. Why are they giving me a sad smile?
"You're not Angel anymore, Thea," Edwin spoke.
Thea...
Thea...
Thea...
That name echoed in my head. I've heard that name before but where? When?
