Cameron is in a tube filled with liquid right in front of me. This isn't happening. It just isn't. I don't believe it.
"You want him back, huh?" He demands.
When I don't answer, he gives me a lash once again from his whip.
"Answer me!" He yells.
"Yes! I do!" I mumble.
"What? What did you say?"
"I said yes!" I scream in his face.
"Well then you're gonna have to fight for him!"
I feel a light punch on my shoulder. It isn't hard like I was expecting. I can hear someone whisper, "Anna, come on, almost time to go."
I sit up and look around at Mr. Emerson's classroom. I can make out the slightest shape of Cameron, my boyfriend, between my groggy eyes. I yawn and lean back in my chair.
He kisses me on the cheek and I smell his copper red hair. Mm... Old spice.
"Time to go already? Oh, Cameron I had the weirdest dream!" I say.
"Oh really? What was it about?" He inquires with one eyebrow raised.
"Let's just say, I'm glad to be awake."
