The medical-nin and the Jonin (Kakashi x Reader)

The Truth Comes Out

Your alarm goes off and you look groggily at your alarm clock. 6 am it read. You sigh and turn off your alarm. "Another three hours of sleep" you sigh. It has been days since you've gotten the proper amount on sleep. "Why is this bothering me so much? He left me. It's been years. I should be over this!" You yell out.

You walk over to your bathroom and look in the mirror. You see you have dark circles under your eyes. You look absolutely miserable. Not even makeup could hide your dark circles. In fact, you really haven't washed your makeup off. Your mascara you had cried off has added to your dark circles. You don't care.

You sluggishly walk downstairs and plop down on your couch and stare at the ceiling. Moments pass and you hear a knock at your door. "Ugh I don't need anyone to check up on me!" You thought.

*Kakashi's pov*
I walk up to her door. I am so nervous. I start to shake. I don't know what to expect. The only person that has seen her was Sakura, and she says that (y/n) looks awful. I don't know what to expect.

I knock on her door and wait for a few minutes. I start to think that she won't open the door, until I see the door handle turn. The door slowly opens. I look and see (y/n) still in her pajamas. Her (h/c) hair is in a very messy bun. She looks pale. She has dark circles under her eyes. Sakura was right.

She looks up at me in shock. "K-Kakashi? What are you doing here?" She asks softly. She can barely speak. "(Y/n) I came here to talk to you." I said. "Well I don't think I want to talk to you." She spits out. She starts to close her door. I put the hand on the door and force it open. "(Y/n) I'm serious! I need to talk to you! It's important!" I say sternly. She backs up and motions for me to come inside.

*(y/n)'s pov*
I didn't really want to invite him in, but I guess I should hear him out. We both sit on my couch. He looks worried or nervous. What could he possibly have to say? "First off, I am so sorry for everything. There is a reason to why I left." He says. I raise an eyebrow. "And what could that reason possibly be? Why did you leave me, your best friend and lover?!" I yell. "I knew how close you were to Rin. No one actually told you how she died." He says. "Kakashi what are you trying to say? Yeah she died and I was devastated, but what does that have to do with you?" I question. There was a slight moment of silence. "(Y/n), I killed Rin. She ran in front of my chidori. She had asked me to kill her days before and I refused. I couldn't do that, but she jumped in front of my chidori and she was killed. I killed her!" He starts to get emotional.

Many thoughts go through my head. I feel my eyes start to water. I'm now crying. "Kakashi." I manage to say. "Yes?" He says crying. "It is not your fault. You didn't know she was going to do that. You don't need to blame yourself!" I say. He looks at me still crying. "But (y/n), I ruined everything! I killed your best friend and I ruined our friendship! I ran from you ashamed to tell you or face you. I am a coward!" He yells. He continues to ramble on, but I interrupt him. "Kakashi! I understand now! It is not your fault! I am so happy that you told me!" I say.

A moment passes and I manage to stop sobbing. We look at each other and give each other a faint smile. I lean over and give Kakashi a hug. Then I feel his arms wrap around me. "Kakashi I have never stopped thinking about you. I have always loved you after all these years. This won't make me stop. I love you." I say burying my head in his neck. He rests his chin on my head. "(Y/n), I have never stopped loving you either. Being without you has been killing me. I love you so much." He says.

We break from our hug and stare at each other. His eyes are you beautiful. He stares deep into my (e/c) eyes. Kakashi then lowers his mask. Before I could say anything, he smashes his lips on to mine. He kisses me passionately. I melt into the kiss and kiss back. I wrap my arms around his neck. He put his arms around my waist. The kiss feels like heaven on earth.

We then release from the kiss. Our eyes opening and looking at each other. We don't take our eyes off each other. "I have been waiting to do this again after all these years." He says smiling at me. I chuckle. "I love you with all my heart Kakashi." I say with a grin on my face. Kakashi puts his mask back on. "And I love you with my whole existence." He says smiling.

"Now (y/n). We need to discuss your appearance." He says. "And what about it?!" I snap. "Umm your hair looks like a bird's nest. You look like you've been wearing those clothes for weeks. Also you are so pale and look like you haven't slept in ages." He says hiding his face so I don't hit him. I sigh. "Right. I guess I need to wash up." I chuckle.

"Look. Go take a nap and clean up and meet me at my house tonight at 7. I have a surprise for you!" He says. "Oh really! Okay!" I say excitedly. Kakashi then leaves my house and waves goodbye. I can't believe that everything that was once wrong is going so right.
