The medical-nin and the Jonin (Kakashi x Reader)

Today We Train!

You hear your alarm go off. You open your eyes slowly. You rub your eyes and stretch. "Today starts training!" You exclaim. You go to your closet and put on a fitting yet comfortable outfit. You put your hair up so it doesn't get in your face. You are now ready.

You leave your house and go to meet up with your team. You see Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke, but no Kakashi. "Hi guys!" You say waving. "Oh hello (y/n)!" Sakura says giving you a hug. "Why is he always the last to arrive?! We are wasting time!" Naruto complains. "You know he's gonna use the same excuse again Naruto." Sasuke mutters. "Well, maybe we should just start without him." You say. Everyone looks to you and laughs. "I don't know why we didn't think of that!" Naruto yells.

You four decided to go off and start training. About an hour passed until you see someone in the distance. "Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto yells out. Kakashi waves and smiles. "I see you started training without me. I'm sorry for being late, I go-" "yeah yeah, you got caught up in the path of life! We know!" Naruto says. Kakashi chuckles. Kakashi looks over to you. "I hope you're enjoying training with us." You look back at him and smile. "Of course I am!" You say.

*time skip*
You guys decided to go take a lunch break. You all walk over to a shady spot under a tree to eat.
Just as you all sat down, you notice Naruto not with a lunch. "Uhh I think I left my lunch at home." He says. "Ugh Naruto. You always do this!" Sakura complains. "It's fine. Me and Sakura will walk with you to get your lunch. It will be nice to walk alone like old times." Sasuke says. "Do they all really need to go?" You thought. They all leave, but they left you with Kakashi.

"This is so awkward!" You thought. You continue to eat until you see Kakashi put down his book. "I hope you don't think of me as a careless person" he says. "Of course not! You do arrive late, but you do make up in skills!" You chuckle. He laughs. "Well I try." It then falls silent again. This silence was bothering you. It was bothering you that he doesn't even remember you. You needed to say something. This was too much. "Kakashi." You say. He looks at you awaiting your comment. "Do you really not know who I am? It's me, (y/n)! Your childhood best friend. I really thought after all this time you'd still remember me!" You yell trying to hold back your frustration. Kakashi looks down and sighs. "Yes I remember you. I knew who you were the moment I saw you." He says. "Then why did you act like that? If you knew who I was, why ignore me?" You ask. "Look. There is a reason, but I can't tell you." He says now looking at you. "Yeah I heard that before. That was what you told me when you left me!" You yelled. You can see he tensed up. It fell silent again.

Moments pass until you hear a voice. "You two know each other?!" Sakura yells. You and Kakashi look at the others. You quickly wipe your tears and get up. "I think I need to go." You say running away. Sakura tries to stop you but you ran fast. You run with tears strolling down your face. "After all this time, he knew who I was?! He didn't want to say anything! Clearly he doesn't care! He didn't care when he left me and he doesn't care now!" You thought.

You enter your house and run up to your bed. You plop down in your bed sobbing. You felt betrayed. You felt a range of emotions. You didn't know how to feel. However, you fall asleep hoping to forget about these feelings until the morning.
