chenle managed to go through the day but without having a second to stop thinking as to where the pure blooded alpha was. he had sent him countless of messages and tried calling him, he even used the whole lunch break to roam around the campus and see where the younger is at. the omega wanted to talk to his friends but he didn't have the courage to do so. he'd try to approach them only to chicken out midway and end up not being able to ask where he is.

he finally had his cousin going back to school though.

❝le?❞ and his cousin insisted in walking back to the dorms with him, seeing that the pure blooded is not around. ❝is there something bothering you?❞

❝that quick?❞ yukhei tilted his head to the side. ❝but didn't you two just got official days ago?❞

he had heard it from xiaojun and hendery. the alpha actually planned to have a talk with the pure blooded today, as he just got back from a break in taking care of his mate, but he questioned as to why he isn't around the campus. he usually sees that tall male gluing himself with his cousin.

❝ah, no.❞ chenle rubbed his nape while having his eyes wandering everywhere, trying to find the words to explain. ❝we actually aren't fighting. we just argued a bit. i'm not that mad at him, i know he was just worried about me. i just needed some time alone.❞

while making their way inside the building, chenle looked up to the older with a glitter of curiosity from his eyes. ❝do you and jungwoo hyung also fight?❞

squinting his eyes as he pondered on that question, yukhei let out a loud laugh as he remembered something. ❝the most memorable one was me ignoring him for my goldfish.❞
