"MOM i'm not five! Im 14 now almost 15 and you still act like you think i'm a baby. Stop making me feel like im trapped in a cage. I can handle myself ok?" Jane whisper-yelled. She wanted to go to a farm that was beyond the electric fence that surrounded the Cave Exploration camp, but her mom wouldnt let her.

"If you continue with that attitude young lady you'll really find yourslelf in a cage. Control yourself. You may be 14 but you do not have enough experience that i can let you go wherever you want. You are still my child and i will set rules and you will follow them. Get it? " her mom replies, not bothering to lower her voice, making the other people in line turn around and stare at them.

"Why did u have to say all that so loudly ! You could've lowered your voice" Jane whispered to her mother once all the attention was off her.

"Yes i could have lowered my voice but you must understand that all your actions will have consequences. Now, its up to you to decide whether you want these consequences to be good or terrible. " said her mother, once again not lowering her voice earning herself and her daughter more glances from the people around.

"Drop it Jane." Said a voice from her right. Jane spun around to face the speaker.

"But its not fair, Maria ! You know it isnt! You're as old as i am and yet your mother doesnt scold you one bit. " Jane protested.

"That is because Maria always behaves herself and never gives her mother attitude. You on the other hand......... Well, noone can say you behave yourself" said another voice.

Jane, now red in face, turned to the offender to give them a peace of her mind.
"Oh is that so William Roberts? What about your behaviour ,huh?"

"My behaviour is quite beautiful if i say so myself." Said Will clearing his throat and grinning at her.

"Oh ofcourseeee it is Will.... your behaviour is as beautiful as that vase from Japan was dont you agree?" Drawled Jane with mock sweetness.

Will instantly stopped grinning and reddened.

"What's all this about the Vase?" Said a Clear voice.
"Oh Mom, its not a big deal, but Will here - "
"Hey mom look! The lines moved forward .We're next!" Will said in a loud voice, cutting Jane off mid-sentence.
"Oh so it is!" Said Mrs Roberts walking away to collect their tickets from the counter. Maria's mother, Mrs Willows followed.

"What happened? What's this story about Will and a China Vase?" Maria asked eagerly, turning to Jane.
Jane Grinned. "Our grandma bought our mom and dad this really exquisite vase from Japan for their anniversary. Apparantly it was really expensive. Our mom simply adored it. It had this beautiful paintings all over it. Mother kept it on the display table in our living room. And then a day later our parents went out to this office party thing and were gone the entire day. I had to do a group project and so i decided to invite my friends who were participating in the project over. You know Blair Rivers? The one Will has a crush on? She arrived first. Will was taking a bath at that time.
I made her sit down in the living room and i went to get us cookies from the kitchen. Suddenly i heard this huge crash from the living room and i ran there. And you will not guess what sight greeted me in a million years" and saying that, Jane doubled up laughing.
"What ? Oh go on.....!" Maria said jumping up and down, eagerly.
"I entered to see Blair sitting on the floor with shampoo on her dress, holding her hand over her mouth and Will wearing a towel around his waist, a blue showercap with duckling designs, on his hair and holding a strawberry shampoo in his hand looking horrified. And then he saw me and slowly got up from the floor so that he wouldnt slip again and said he couldnt find his toothpaste and started walking towards me and slipped. Oh the look on his face!"laughed Jane, gasping with tears rolling down her face. "And he fell backwards and tried to stop by holding onto the door. Bu-but then the door slipped from the hinges and fell right onto the gorgeous vase, while Will stood there with soap all over him gaping like a gold fish at the broken vase. Then suddenly i started laughing and he remembered that he wasnt there alone. He looked at me and then at Blair and turned soooo red! And then he tried to run out and in the process squashed the shampoo bottle that had fallen down. The pink shampoo squirted all over poor Blair. She squealed and ran out of the house crying while Will stood there like an idiot." Finished Jane laughing even harder. Maria joined in while Will glared at them both.
Mrs Roberts and Mrs Willows returned with tickets in her hand.

"There you go. Keep these carefully or you wont be able to enter okay? " said Mrs Willows.

Soon all of them were walking towards the ticket collector at the cave entrance, Jane and Maria still giggling and Will still red in the face. They gave their tickets to the collector who gave them each a pair of headphones connected to a small voice box.

"What're these for ?" Asked Will, turning his headphones around in his hands, examining them.

"We have to plug them in when we go in. Whenever we reach a dinosaur display thingy we have to click that button on top. " said Maria pointing. "And once we click it, the recording plays, giving us info about that particular dinosaur."

"Woahhhhh! Thats cool! But i thought this was some kind of adventure thing. I mean, look around! Its like a movie cave !" Said Will, frowning.

"Will, Will" said Jane, shaking her head in mock concern. "Your brain isnt meant to do things like thinking. Its too small to do big stuff like that. Im sure Blair will agree"

"Why you little bi-" began Will.

"William, language!" Said Mrs Roberts sharply.

Mumbling darkly while shaking his head, Will walked forward. Maria thought he looked rather beautiful with his dark brown hair and forest green eyes. Horrified at her thoughts, Maria shook her head and ran to catch up with her best friend, Jane.

"Okay, kids! You can now move around by yourselves but the three of you stay together, okay?" Said Mrs Willows

"Yes ma!" Said Maria and pulled Jane along.

"William, stay with Maria and your sister, i mean it! " called Mrs Roberts to her son.
Maria turned around to find Will trying to walk towards another direction, still mumbling.
"Oh for Heaven's sake! Will stop sulking! You're wasting our time'' Said an exasperated Jane, pulling her brother along.

"Ur a fat muffin" mumbled Will to his sister, earning himself a laugh from Maria and an eye roll from Jane.
"Come on, strawberry duckling" said Jane and all three of them walked towards the first exhibit.
