Maria's eyes fluttered open. Groaning, she slowly pushed herself off the ground, blinking to adjust to the sudden brightness.

All of a sudden, she remembered what had caused her to fall to the ground. She quicky brushed herself and looked around.
That's when she realized the surrounding were completely and utterly unfamiliar.

Her heart was beating so hard that she felt it would burst right out of her chest. She clenched and unclenched her sweaty hands. What-where-what is this place?

And then she fell to the ground, her head spinning, inturn making the room she was in spin. Pictures flashed in front of her face.

A small girl with short brown hair and bright blue eyes laughing while holding a dolphin toy in her hand, being chased by a tiny boy about the same age, his brown hair sticking to his forehead, his green eyes indignant.

She saw herself and the little boy rolling around in the mud while the girl loomed at them with disgusted blue eyes, squinting in the sun.

The boy, now grown up, was ruffling the girl's hair while she, Maria, laughed at the girl's squeals.

Mrs Roberts had her arms around the boy while the girl pulled his reddened cheeks while laughing. But Mrs Roberts doesnt have a son.

She saw the boy glaring at the girl and herself while they laughed at him, all of them standing outside a cave entrance.

Maria opened her eyes, her head still spinning.
"Will and Jane" was all she said before she collapsed on the rock hard floor.
