From A Cave Into The Unknown

Doubts and Hesitation

"Will! WILL! Get Off me!" Screeched Jane, trying to breathe,while her brother's weight crushed her.

"Mmphh" she heard before the weight was off her.
She got up and brushed herself.
"What" she said "just happened? I felt this-this .. vibration and trembling and then it was all - dark and then it felt like- like" she tried to grasp a word that would explain what she had felt.
"Like someone pushed someone else right through you?" Said Will quietly.
"Y-yes" Jane whispered back. She suddenly felt cold. Although everything around her looked the same it felt kind of ... eerie. She was sure Will felt the same.

"What happened?" She repeated. It sounded more like a statement then a question. Maybe it was.
"I-I dont know." Her brother said, looking around. "Maybe it was just an Earthquake. I mean, everything looks the same."
"Are you sure? I mean, it feels...... weird, really reaally weird!" Jane said biting her lip.

Will looked at her for a while and said, "yes. Im sure. Its all right. It was just an earthquake."
He sounded quite confident but Jane saw the doubt and hesitation in his eyes, and somehow his hesitation made her feel better.
The fact that she was not alone in what she felt comforted her greatly.
