     Koutarou was nothing short of upset the last week. Usually (Y/n) would sleep in bed with her parents, but lately she had been on some kind of strike or something. She had honestly broken his heart, saying with defiance that she indeed did not want to sleep with him and Keiji anymore. Because, of course, she was getting older and it was getting a little embarrassing for her. Keiji played along and let her go to her own room on Thursday, neither him or Koutarou had expected her to stick with it at all, so when she happily slept away by herself both men were a little disturbed.

     Keiji sat up in bed, his eyes narrowed in slight agitation. He wasn't used to it because for the last five years they always had her sleeping with them. Mornings were the worst, too, because now they couldn't just lay in bed and cuddle like they used to. In all honesty both parents were going through withdrawal. Koutarou had been in his emo-mode for a week straight and there was nothing his husband could do about it.

     Owl-like irises looked at the clock sitting on the bedside table, watching sternly as it ticked closer to five o'clock. Once it does, Koutarou gets out of bed and ignores Keiji when the black-haired man asks where he was going. He gets no answer so he just kind of sits there until Koutarou gets back... with their sleeping daughter curled up in his arms. She was a lot like her father in one regard, she was a heavy sleeper. She had a natural alarm clock that woke her up at six and absolutely nothing else could get her awake otherwise. Keiji sees where this is going but can't really find it in himself to complain.

     Suddenly feeling relieved, Koutarou plops himself in bed right next to Keiji with a still asleep (Y/n) in his arms. He's got this goofy smile on his face as he feels her subconsciously wrap her arms around his neck. It doesn't take him long to fall asleep right with her, and Keiji is suddenly the only part of their family that's awake. He sighs, rolling over to wrap one of his arms over both his daughter and his husband.

     They finally got their morning cuddles back.

[I wasn't even planning on doing any ships for this book, but this was super cute and I really enjoyed writing it.
