     Tadashi had been heartbroken for hours, and he nearly went to pull (Y/n) out of school if it hadn't been for Tsukishima. He had been utterly miserable all day and he was so glad when they went to go pick (Y/n) up. Tadashi had expected her to be just as sad as he was, but imagine his surprise when she came running up to him with a wide smile on her usually shy-looking face. Tadashi was nothing short of nervous. She was way too young to have found a crush, right?

     Tadashi holds her in his arms as they walk away from the school, he felt rather relieved to have her back in his arms as she rambled on about what had gone down while she was away. She told Tadashi and Tsukishima about the crafts that they had made in class and how fun it had been for her. She got a pouty look when she told them she accidentally got paint all over her fingers earlier.

     "Hey, Papa," (Y/n) started to ask, her head resting on his shoulder as he carried her. "Hm?" Tadashi sounded content and he kind of already knew what she was going to ask but he'd let her do it anyway. "We're going to get ice cream now, right?"

     Tsukishima snorted at her question, looking over at his friend with an amused expression on his face.

     "Yeah, we're getting ice cream."

     At least she didn't hate him for sending her to school like he thought she would!
