(Y/n) could already hear the scolding she was going to hear from her uncle Daichi once she got to see him and he found out, but it really wasn't her fault. Playing video games was a big part of (Y/n)'s life, she really couldn't help herself. She wasn't hyper like Shoyo, she was an introvert so she preferred to stay inside and play her games, was that really so bad? Medically, yes. Both of her parents had taken her to the doctor because she had quite literally been smashing into walls the last couple of weeks and surprise, surprise, her eyes were failing her.

Kenma had pursed his lips at the news, immediately knowing why her eyes were so bad and Shoyo simply snagged her gaming device right out of her pocket. Needless to say, she was far from happy.

She had gotten her glasses a few days ago, and she kind of liked them. She got headaches sometimes, but that happened anyway. However, she had been forbidden to play any video games by Shoyo. It was utterly ridiculous, she knew that, because they weren't even sure that her eyes got so bad because of her games! It could have been genetic, but Shoyo was refusing to take any chances when it came to their daughters health.

That was why their twelve-year-old daughter was caught playing Animal Crossing four in the morning.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU?!" Shoyo had been barely awake two seconds ago and now he was busting with too much energy. She had been so sleepy the last couple of days and now Shoyo and Kenma knew why. The orange-haired man marches over and snatches her game away making (Y/n) let out a whine of protest. Kenma stood in the doorway, barely comprehending what was going on. "But... you won't let me play during the day! What was I supposed to do?"

Shoyo takes a deep breath, handing his husband the game before turning back to look at their daughter.

"Not play, that was the point!"

He marches off and goes back to bed.

Kenma and (Y/n) stay up playing Animal Crossing.
