Akatsuki's Movements

Naruto's POV

"Hey Sakura-chan!" I called out to my pink haired team mate. Sakura-chan turned around and waited for me to catch up.

"You're late, Naruto." Sakura-chan scolded me when I finally caught up.

"It's fine, I'm here now." I grin and we both begin our walk to the Hokage Tower, "So why do you think Grandma Tsunade want's to see us?"

"You should really be more respectful to Lady Tsunade, she is our Hokage after all."

"I know that." I grumble.

Sakura-chan huffed, "Anyway, to answer your question I have no idea. I'm just as clueless as you."

I crossed my arms behind my head and looked up at the sky in thought. 'Wonder what could be so important Granny Tsunade had to see us urgently?'

When we arrived at the Hokage Tower, Team 7's newest member, Sai stood out front. I immediately grew annoyed. In my opinion we didn't need a new team mate, what we need is Sasuke and Natsuki to come back to the village. Having Sai pretty much taking their place wasn't fair to them.

"Good morning, Sai." Sakura-chan greeted him.

"Good morning Sakura, Naruto." Sai greeted us back with one of his empty smiles.

I ignored him and headed into the tower, both of them following behind.

When we got to the Hokage's office Sakura-chan tapped her knuckles on the wooden door and we waited for permission to enter.

"Come in!" Granny Tsunade's voice boomed through the woodwork and we all filed in and stood in front of her desk. Her desk as always was filled with clutter and neglected documents. Shizune was busy organizing and filing scrolls and documents that had be looked over by the Hokage already.

"Ah, Sakura, Naruto. Good you're here." Granny Tsunade intertwined her fingers together and addressed us.

"You wanted to see us, Lady Tsunade?" Sakura-chan asked.

Granny Tsunade nodded and sat back in her chair. "We've gotten some news on Sasuke Uchiha."

At the mention of Sasuke's name I immediately pipped up and paid attention to everything Grandma could tell us.

"What on Sasuke?" I questioned her, my tone completely serious.

Tsunade stood up from her chair and gave Sakura-chan a thin file. I leaned over Sakura-chan's shoulder and read the report with her. My eyes widened when one specific sentence stood out.

Uchiha Sasuke's location discovered.

"Oi Granny, is this true? Do we know where Sasuke is?"I exclaimed at the big breasted woman.

Granny Tsunade nodded, "It's true. A group of ANBU were out on a top secret mission when they happened by it. "

I felt overjoyed at the news, adrenaline rushed through my veins and I couldn't get out of this office faster. But one thing stopped me, "What about Natsuki?"

Sakura-chan and Sai both looked over at me and I didn't miss the look of sadness that crossed Sakura-chan's face. Granny Tsunade was mute while she was deep in thought, the atmosphere in the room quickly becoming thick with anticipation.

Finally she spoke up, "We don't have any word on Natsuki. It's been the same thing for the past three years. You must understand Naruto, there is a possibility she's dead. It's not normal for us not to have heard about anyone for three whole years."

"She's not dead!" I snapped. "Natsuki isn't dead, if there's one thing I know it's that."

I felt a pat on my shoulder and glanced at Sakura-chan, a pained look on her face. I let out a long breath and turned back to the Hokage. "Natsuki is alive and I will bring her back, along with Sasuke."
