Three days passed by in a blur of dust and old books. After learning about my clan's history my head was swirling. I lay among a fortress of books and scrolls. In the three days Konoyumi and I have been stuffed inside this dank room, nearly everything here had been looked over. Twice. There were, of course, certain documents and such that we couldn't see into because my clan took their secrets far too seriously.

Most of the time I spent sitting here going through everything my mind had somehow strayed back to what I had read in the leather bound book with my name engraved along the spine.

When two of the same tortured soul cross paths again, the Earth will splinter and blood will paint the world in red. Chaos shall rain down from the heavens and take the form of a monster. Friend will turn on friend, protector will become thy enemy and only from the ashes of war will the survivor be able to cut herself free from her past and change the future before it's too late...

A chill danced up and down my spine as I remembered the words. What did it mean? Despite coming back to the only place that could give me the answers I seek, why is it that I'm only finding more questions in need of answering?

The darkness of the room began to light up from the morning sun. It was the morning of the third day. Leader-sama is expecting me to return to base soon. I glanced over at Konoyumi curled up in a ball by my side sound asleep. She has been with me for the entire three days.  To any normal ninja holding up a summoning jutsu for so long would have depleted almost all of their chakra. However, because I am both apart of Akatsuki and an S-rank criminal I only feel mildly tired.

I stretched my arms up over my head and yawned before standing up and rubbing my stiff joints. My movement awoke Konoyumi from her slumber and she too yawned and stretched her limbs out. I got to quickly packing up the mess of books and scrolls, trying to remember where I took them out from. I decided to take my book and Kazue's diary back to the base with me. Maybe I might uncover something else I may have missed before.

Within an hour the room was back exactly how I found it. Checking to make sure I wasn't leaving anything behind I left the room and re-sealed the room with the same jutsu. I walked out the front door of my childhood home and climbed onto Konoyumi's back. As soon as I was seated she started to trot off. I quickly glanced over my shoulder before passing through the compound gates. My eyes rested on my parents graves and just before Konoyumi charged into the woods I swear the white lilies were replaced with roses.

We returned to Akatsuki a little bit before midday. I sent Konoyumi back to the others and made my way down the corridor.

"I'm back!" I called when I reached the living room only for there to be no one there. I rose an eyebrow. Usually there would be at least one or two people here at any time. "Yo! Is anyone here?"

My call was meet with silence. I removed my cloak and draped it over the back of one of the chairs in the living room and making my way down the corridors. The sound of something clattering against metal caught my attention and I marched into the infirmary.

What I saw made me stop in my tracks. Almost everyone in Akatsuki was gathered around two cots. I spotted Deidara sitting up right on one of them. Walking over to him first I noticed that he now had two arms again. I stood in front of him to inspect the transplanted arm.

"Hey, sweetheart. Didn't know you were back, un." Deidara grinned and wrapped his arms around me so I now stood between his legs.

"I called out to you guys like five minutes ago, you just didn't hear me." I said.
