The sky bled a vibrant red as the day drew to an end. Night was soon to fall bringing with it judgement reaped by a full fledged wolf on the hunt. That's exactly what this was. A hunt. I was the predator chasing after her pray. Pray she had been training her whole life to catch. And now that day had finally come. Tonight was the night I was finally going to get revenge for my clan. Maybe after tonight my dreams will no longer be plagued by blood and the dead bodies of so long ago. Maybe now  the ghosts of my past can finally be put to rest. Maybe now I'll finally be able to move on with my life.

Since I left Akatsuki's base my eyes never lost the rage that blurred the corners of my vision. Determination to right wrongs were set in stone across all my features. My mouth salivating as my blood lust consumed every nerve and every fibre of my being. My face remained corrupted in a snarl, fangs protruding from my lips and claws itching to kill.

My feet slapped against the branches as I swiftly moved, zig-zagging through the foliage until I finally caught Itachi's scent.

Subconsciously my lips curled back even more as my canines grew too big for my mouth. My thirst for blood fulled me almost as much as the hate I had been nursing for so many years.

I never felt more ready. More prepared. More determined. Akatsuki had trained me well in the last three years. For one, it blessed me with a knowledge of Itachi's tendencies. And two, it taught me just what it means to fight with everything you have and to sacrifice everything in the process to achieve your goal.

How do you kill a criminal?

You become one yourself.

I had a few tricks up my sleeve just in case this battle became dire and as it stood now I had no regrets.

After following the beaten track it didn't take long for me to find his hide away...

I didn't recognise the large fortress laid out before me. Stone walls in casing the structure in a confined space no larger than an average training field. It reminded me of an abandoned castle long forgotten and worn down by the ages.

The sky had changed. With the sun no longer travelling the sky the land became dark and morbid. The wind stung as it twisted and tugged at the strands of my hair. The air was filled with the musky smell of an approching storm, the sound of lightining crackling in the distance sending fast jolt of adrenaline through my body.

I smirked at the scene laid bare before my eyes. No matter the outcome, someone was dying tonight.

I pushed off the ground and leaped up onto the stone wall. Following along that I ran and lunged for a tree, catching myself on a branch and landing on the ground in a crouch. Using my ears I honed in on anything that created noise. My flared, golden eyes scouting the grounds. When all was clear I broke out into a sprint.

I scaled the building one jump at a time. The audible sound of metal ringing against metal met my ears along with heavy grunts and a large amount of chakra.

Climbing onto the roof I found a hole small enough for me to slip into. Drawing a kunai from my pouch and gripping it with my teeth I crawled into the hole. The shrieking of metal ringing louder and that's when I took in the scene below me.

Sasuke and Itachi where in the midst of battle. I watched Itachi's slick manoeuvre of his younger brother's attacks. Sasuke's face was scrunched up in a mixture of vengeance and frustration. Itachi was dancing circles around Sasuke, angering his brother more.
