JUICIKA'S POV

"Wow, you were really brave today. George really deserved it."
I said gushing over Ratty.

"I know babe, I did what I had to do."
He explained as he slightly flexed his muscles.

He had never called me that before.

Babe

I could get used to that.

"You threw smelly spaghetti at him."
Ragina said with great disgust.

"Yeah, it was somehow soft and crunchy at the same time!"
Rome described.

"You ate some?"
Ragina asked.

"No."
Rome said looking up.

Ragina gagged a little.

"Alright, I'll be sure to throw some at yous two next time."
Ratty teased.

"What about Juicika?"
Rome asked.

"I would never."
Ratty said as he squeezed my hand reassuringly.

"I wouldn't mind it."
I said smiling.

"Ew eW EW! My mums here...GoodBYE!"
Ragina said trying not to throw up everywhere.

"Are we still on for tea at your mums?"
Rome asked.

"I suppose so."
I replied.

My mum pulled up right next to the curb.

"JUCIKAAAAAAAAAH RUSICKAH MUSEIKA!"
Mum yelled poking her head out the window.

"Your middle name is Rusicka?"
Rome and Matty asked simultaneously.

"Let's go!"
I said, dodging the question.

"Hi Mrs Museika! Thank you for inviting me over for tea again."
Rome said enthusiastically.

"I didn't invite you over for tea...again."
Mum explained, giving me the side eye.

The car ride home was awkward. It consisted of Rome being overly nice and mum not taking any of it.

"Does your mum make good tea? I bet I could make it better."
Ratty whispered.

"WOAH, YOU'RE HERE? SINCE WHEN?"
I jumped.

"I've been sitting next to you the whole time?"
Ratty explained.

"I guess we are having a TEA PARTY with GUESTS i NEVER invited."
Mum yelled as the car swerved a little.

It was weird because the car was parked in the garage.

We all made our way inside, taking seats around the dining room table.

Mum was in the kitchen making tea. Ratty Matty and I were playing with each others feet under the table. Rome was awkwardly sitting in the seat mum usually sits in.

"So, the weather today? It was quite nice."
Rome said, trying to make conversation.

"Yeah, it was cloudy with a chance of meatballs for George today. The sket deserved it."
Ratty said as he wrapped is leg around mine to stop me from winning our intense game of footsies.

Rome laughed.

It wasn't an ordinary laugh, it was exaggerated. I'm pretty sure he snorted too.

"That was a GOOD one Ratty."
Rome said still laughing.

"Right, here's the tea and butter biscuits."
Mum said as she placed mugs in-front of us.

Tea was really awkward. Mum and Rome got into a debate about whether or not Santa is evil and when Rome was proven wrong, he started sobbing.

To get away from it, I stood up and walked behind Matty.

"Do you wanna go up to my room?"
I whispered.

"Yes please."
He replied.

I led him up to my room. We sat on the bed.

"You don't talk about your dad much. What's he up to?"
Matty asked as he laid down, facing me.

"Oh here's here. It's in the room at the end of the hall. He's always in there, he said it's something to do with completing a paddle ball challenge."
I explained as I laid down next to him.

He laughed.

"You're beautiful, you know that?"
He said, stroking my cheek.

He moved closer, his nose touching mine.

"Jucikaaaa? RATTY MATTY?"
Rome yelled as he walked into my room.

Matty sighed, moving away.

"Oh. OH did I? I did it again."
Rome said looking down as I sat up.

"Yep."
Ratty said disappointed.

"I was just coming to say that I was leaving."
Rome explained.

"Yeah I better get going too."
Ratty said as he got up.

We all made our way to the front door. Ratty gave me a kiss on the cheek. Rome and I shook hands.

"Byeeee!"
I yelled as they walked off.

"Never invite Rome over again....EVER!"
Mum said angrily.
