You Should See Me In A Crown

All my life, I've been told how to be lady-like. How to sit, how to eat, how to cook. But I'm never allowed to join in conversations about politics, religion or really anything that mattered. That is the men's job.

Girls are pressured by the media, and by the world to be airheaded and boy crazy, to have the perfect body, and to not be 'too outspoken' with their opinions or thoughts. Then they are to be shamed, and laughed at by the men for thinking that way, like they aren't the ones expecting that of girls.

Girls are to bite their tongues when they feel the urge to share their opinion. To sit there and look pretty for the men.

But we don't belong to them, we are not objects for them to use and admire, then discard when they're done. We are human beings, and we deserve the right to have our opinions, to share them, and to influence the world we live in.

A\N not sure yet what to do for All The Good Girls Go To Hell, so if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know in the comments!
