Just the Sight

My name is molly James and honestly, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. Everyone round town knows me as the sweet girl and growing up I never did anything wrong.... That is until I met him.

2 weeks before

I woke up to my alarm going of for work. I got up and put on my favourite black dress. I work in an office for a company that sells clothes. As I grabbed myself a cup of tea, my phone started to ring. It was my assistant, Ruth. I answered the phone.

Ruth : "omg! You need to get to work fast! This new guy.."

Molly : "slow down.. Slow down. What is it?"

Ruth :  "they have just hired a new guy in the office and he looks amazing. His office is a few feet away from yours! I'm so jealous"

Molly : "I'll be there in 20 minutes ok"

I hung up the phone and headed down to work. I got in the elevator and pressed the button up to floor 34. What Ruth was yelling over the phone was no lie. As soon as the elevator door opened, it felt like everything started going in slow motion. This guy was heaven! The smooth black hair, that suit that was obviously hiding a load of muscle and those dark blue eyes. I was afraid if I stared any longer, I'll never look back. I saw Ruth calling me over to her office with a smile on her face. I went over as fast as possible trying not to make it obvious I was looking at him.

Ruth : "he is honestly so cute. I wonder what his name is"

Molly : "he looks like a toby?"

Ruth : "or a Thomas?"

Molly : "one of us should go over"

Before we had a chance to say anything else, he looks over to where we're peeping round the door to look at him. We moved away so fast. I never felt my heart beat so hard... Until he walked over and it was beating so hard I swear it was going to explode!

Ruth : "hey I'm Ruth, and you are?"

Rio : "Rio, the guy your both staring at"

Ruth and Rio started to laugh, where I was there looking a fool just staring with my mouth open. He looked at me for a second with the most adorable smile across his face. Omg he was perfect!

Rio : "are you ok?"

Molly : "oh sorry, I'm molly James"

He shoke my hand and his smile grew bigger. We just looked at eachother. It all went back into slow motion again. I was sinking and yet it ended with in seconds. He let go of my hand.

Rio : "I was wondering, if you don't mind, could you show me where the meeting room is. It's so hard to find your way around here"

Molly : "of course, I'm on my way there in a minute. My assistant and I just need to talk a moment. I will be with you shortly "

He smiles and walks out shuting the door quietly behind him. I sat down at my desk. I have never felt so light headed in my life. I swear I was sweating. I started to worry about how I looked, how I smelt... Oh god please don't smell of BO please! please! please! My cheeks hurt from how much I was smiling, which is when I just remembered Ruth is standing infront of my desk silently laughing at me.

Ruth : "you alright there molly? You seem to be really red"

Molly : "I'll be ok once I've had a glass of water"

She left to get a glass of water and came back to hand it to me

Ruth : "so you have a meeting in 10 minutes to discuss some new clothing ideas, you then have a meeting with... Omg"

Molly : "what is it?"

Ruth : "the boss wants everyone to work in partners and.. He's paired you with newbie"

Molly : "Rio! No! No way!"

I swear my heart had stopped completely at this point. There was no sound, only ringing in my ears. All I could see was the smirk on Ruth's face.

Ruth : "don't forget he's waiting for you outside right now. You should be leaving for your meeting any minute"

Molly : "no no no no. This has to be a dream"

I pinched myself while Ruth just stood there laughing at me. Very helpful of her... She's lucky were close friends otherwise I would fire her. I laughed to myself at that thought. Ruth obviously looked at me like I was crazy. Maybe I am anyway.. There's a cute guy waiting for me! I opened the door slowly and seeing him was like seeing him for the first time again but this time I noticed other things. His cologne was amazing, his smile was perfect and I couldn't point out anything wrong with him, even if I tried.

Rio : "are we going to this meeting?" he laughed slightly

Molly : "sorry yes"

He smiled more at me. I couldn't help but smile back. I slowly walked him to the meeting room and what made it worse was he picked to sit right next to me. I just wanted to kiss him at this point! I know I've only known him 1 day but seriously, how perfect can you look! My gaze was soon pulled away as the meeting started. He didn't seem nervous, shy or anything. It was like he had been working here for longer then me. He was answering questions and giving such good ideas so fast, how was he this good. I was to busy with my own thoughts I didn't realise the meeting had ended.. Which meant it was just going to be me and Rio in my office. I wanted to die!

Rio : "so, back to your office now, right?"

Molly : "yes. I'll lead the way"

I must keep my cool! Here goes nothing!
