Escape The Night

Rio's pov

I was sitting with Ruth, waiting for lucas to get back with Molly. I wasn't sure what to say to her. It's my fault Ila's not here, I can't let it happen again! I don't want to be mean, but I'm going to have to be. At that moment, lucas burst through my front door, without molly. He was out of breath and was crying. I got up fast and went over to him. I hugged him, it's always made us calm since we were 4 years old.

Rio : "lucas, whats wrong? Your acting like you've just been shot!"

Lucas : "m-molly! I lost h-her! They t-ook m-molly!"

Rio : "it's ok, it's ok.. Shhhh... Calm down"

I sat him down on the sofa and got him a drink, while he hugged Ruth. I sat down with them

Ruth : "calmly, explain what's happened"

Lucas : "I think it was crane, he's got molly-"

Rio : (interrupts) "what!? He took molly!?"

My heart began to beat harder. Not again, not again! I needed to think of something fast

Ruth : "Rio, calm down"

Rio : "calm down? .... Calm down?!-"

Ruth : (interrupts) "Rio! It's not going to help us with you panicking. For molly, take deep breaths and stay calm"

She's right. Panicking wouldn't help me right now. I did what she said and took deep breaths

Ruth : "ok, now calmly, what are we going to do"

Lucas : "wait.. The day we went to his house"

Rio : "yeah, what about it?"

Lucas : "when we were hiding, what was it he said?"

Ruth : "omg, he said to take molly-"

Rio : (interrupts) "so I would come looking for her and he can take me!"

Lucas : "which means molly-!"

Rio : (interrupts) "is at cranes House! Omg!"

Ruth : "we need to go get her!"

Rio : "no... We can't just go get her. He's fucking insane!"

Ruth : "and your not!?"

Rio : "this isn't the time to talk about me being a psychopath, Ruth!"

Flash backs of Ila's death started coming to me. He shot her right infront of me. If I just walk in the house, the same could happen to molly! We needed a different plan. I miss Ila more everyday, I'm not having that same feeling again!

Rio : "we need a plan. We can't just walk in, he'll shoot her!"

Lucas : "we could find a new way into the building"

Ruth : "wait, we could use John"

Rio : "what do you mean?"

Ruth : "John's expecting to see you again, right? We could get him to open his bedroom window and we could use his window to get into the house"

Rio : "that's a great idea"

We sat around the table for a few hours, working out plans to safely get molly and escape in one piece. There were alot of changes through out the plan, but we soon had it all figured out and went to grab our guns.

I went into my bedroom and on the bed was molly's hair clip, the one she had in her hair on our date. I picked it up and all I could think of was her lying next to me in bed, smiling up at me. I wanted to cry, but I was so angry, I couldn't. I lov-"
