Under Pressure

As soon as we all heard crane at the door, we panicked! Rio turned around and pushed lucas to move. Ruth followed after him and Rio took me by the hand. It gave me butterflies and my stomach dropped. How does he give me this feeling everytime!?

Lucas hid behind a sofa that was pushed up a corner. Luckily, no one would see him lying there. He called Ruth over to hide with him, so he knew she was safe. We heard cranes voice getting closer and the door handle began to turn. Rio opened a huge cupboard as fast as he could and helped me in. He got in after me, giving me more room and pulled the doors shut. There was a gap inbetween the cupboard doors and we could both see what was going on.

Crane slammed open the front door with 5 of his men following him in. He looked so pissed! I felt a little nervous, but safe knowing Rio was right there with me.

Crane : "how the fuck did you loose him!? He was at the hotel, he ran away! It's a straight fucking road!"

Rio turned to me and began to point to each of his men, explaining who is who

Rio : (whispering) "just to catch you up, that's Sam, Derek, James, Austin and-"

Crane pulled out a gun and shot one of his men, before Rio could finish his sentence.

Rio : (whispering) "and that dead guy is Leo"

I nodded as he continued to shout at the other men

Crane : "you all had fucking one job! The next time you loose him, your all going to be dead"

Rio : (whispering) "well, there all dead"

I silently laughed with him. We continued to listen and look through the gap of the cupboard.

Crane : "I need an idea now! Anything just to get him! That bastard took one of my best men for 8 months, shot him and then exploded 12 of my guards, in my own office! If you think I'm letting him get away with it, you can all join Leo on the floor!"

He went to walk away, but he stopped, as one of the 4 spoke up

James : "actually, I think I know exactly how to get him"

He turned around slowly to face him. I couldn't tell if he was going to listen, or just shoot the shit out of him. He looked dodgy as hell!

Crane : "and what would that be?"

James : "well, he's been seen with a girl. We believe it to be his new girlfriend"

Sam : "that's right, he's Been seeing a girl. And get this, she's the one who ended Joel's life and exploded your 12 men. It was all her!"

My heart began to pound! How did they know I shot that guy and set of the bomb the other night?!... And I was definitely not Rio's girlfriend! Sure, we went on a date and... Slept togeth-... my point is we're not officially together!

Crane : "that was her!? You know what, we took his love once, why not take her again"

As those words left his mouth, Rio pulled me close to him and held me tight

Rio : (whispers) "don't listen to a word he says, he won't touch you"

I looked up at him and he looked more terrified then me. I sat inbetween his legs, as he wrapped his arms round me. I felt calm and we continued to watch through the gap. We smelt so bad! There was blood all over our faces and clothes, after taking off Andrews fingers... Omg, Andrews fingers!

Molly : (whispers) "Rio, what if they find Andrews fingers right now, while we're here in the house? Even worse, what if they see andrew on the floor?"
