To Perfect

I took Rio into my office and shut the door. I know what your thinking. We're on our own, just the 2 of us in my office, we're going to do something romantic.... No no no! I wish it was true, but instead he sat in the seat infront of my desk, just smiling.

Rio : "so we have to come up with a new design for a t-shirt, right?"

Molly : "um.. Yeah. Do you have any ideas to start of with?"

He went on to tell me his ideas for a few designs and I told him my ideas. 2 hours had past by the time we had finished and yet it only seemed like minutes. Once we had finished up it was my lunch break and I normally go down to get a cup of tea. I left my office and Rio went to continue setting up his office. I got in the elevator fast, didn't even look back. If I had looked at him any longer I would had never left him. I made it to the cafe on the third floor of the building. I sat at a table and got out my phone. Ruth came over with a coffee and sat in the seat opposite me.

Ruth : "how did the meeting go?" she raises a eyebrow with a smug smile

Molly : "we spent 2 hours talking about different designs"

Ruth : "Jeez. Everyone else only spent up to 40 minutes talking about the designs"

Molly : "does he not seem a little odd to you. This morning in the meeting, he was talking like he's worked here for years. He's never done this before and he's already a pro"

We both laughed and enjoyed drinks together. I seen Rio over ordering a coffee. He doesn't even have a loose hair. Every hair piece is perfectly in place. He surely can't be this perfect. It's strange how good he is at everything. I didn't realise I was staring until he looked over at me and smiled. I smiled and quickly looked away. But the next time I looked up at him he was walking this way!

Rio : "can I sit here?"

Ruth : "yes of course you can"

He sat down next to Ruth and I was terrified to say anything! It took me a few moments to just look up from my phone again. Ruth was talking to him thank god but, it soon went silent. Great, now it's awkward. Ok I was just going to have to say something.

Molly : "we're going to start creating our design after this, right?"

Rio : "yeah" he smiled and nodded

Oh great going, Conversation done then! I had to say something else, anything to break this silence... Oh thank god Ruth started speaking to him again. Now I can plan an escape.

Molly : "I'm going to head back up to my office. I'll see you both later"

They both smiled at me

Rio : "I'll head up once I've finished my coffee

I smiled at him and he winked! Ok now my heart was dropping. I think... He can tell that I like him. Oh god no! He smiled and it felt like I had been standing there forever. I couldn't have wanted to get away from him any moment faster then this moment. I got in the elevator and pressed the button so quickly. Once I got back up to my office, I felt calm again

I went back to my computer to check through emails, work and see when my next meetings are. It was quite hard to get through it all with Rio in my head. He was just so....

Lilah : "hi molly"

Molly : "he was just so cute!"

I was so dead! I just said that out loud! Of course she just laughed and asked what I was on about. I was probably going to throw up if I tried opening my mouth again!

Lilah : "you ok? You seem stressed today"

Molly : "sorry, yeah I'm alright thanks"

Lilah : "is it the new guy that's bothering you?" she raised a eyebrow and smirked

Ruth : "it's definitely Rio bothering her" she laughed

Molly : "Ruth! It is not Rio bothering me!"

They both just looked at eachother with smiles and looked back at me. I was not taking anything from them. I gave them both the middle finger and they just laughed.

Lilah : "you might want to stop being so grumpy, he's on his way back" she looked behind her and back at me.

Molly : "that means... Both of you get out!"

We all laughed and they both walk away. I closed my door hoping he wouldn't come in just yet. I needed time, just on my own away from him. There is still something about him that is so strange. Luckily there was just 1 hour left of work. It was 7pm already. I might stay over tonight, maybe work until 9pm. I have so much to get done and I really don't want it piling up.

1 hour goes by just like that and everyone was leaving. Ruth came into my office and leaned up the door frame.

Ruth : "I'm heading home. I'll see you tomorrow... Oh, and don't forget we're going out for drinks tomorrow"

Molly : "of course I won't forget. Don't worry, I'll be there. I'll see you tomorrow"

She smiled and walked of. The building was quiet and there was only a few people working over time tonight. I was the only one on floor 34. It was all going good, until I heard a sound come from the bosses room. I slowly got up to go see.

I leaned up against the wall where the bosses room was. I peeped round the door slowly to see Rio. I tried to stay quiet as possible and looked round the door more. He was taking all his money?!
I tried not to make a sound and get caught. I quickly ran back to my office. I'm such a chicken I know.

I packed up my stuff as normal, trying to get his attention so he knows I'm here. I dropped all my things on the floor by accident. Yeah, great help that was. But luckily it got his attention and he came over.

Rio : "what are you going here?"

Molly : "working over time, what are you doing here?"

Rio : "same as you..."

Ok I had a choice. I could call him out and say he took the money or just go along with his story. I'm such a idiot, let's just say that!

Molly : "really, why do you have the bosses money then"

He stood there a moment and honestly I regretted it straight away. He looked so angry and out of no where he pulled out a gun! Oh great, I can't just play cool I had to say I saw him, and now I have a gun to my head!
