When it all ends 「chapter ３」

I felt all warm inside hearing those words "I know, we both know life won't be the same without Kaede around" I liked the fact she wasn't around, but I have to thank the culprit otherwise I wouldn't be feeling his touch around my body "Cmon Saihara! Lets go find out who the culprit is and bring justice to Kaede!" The hug ended and he nodded in response, we went back into my room I showed him the note that was crumbled in my pocket (yeah I know I didn't mention Kokichi stuffing the note in his pocket in the last chapter!) he was shocked but I wasn't surprised he gave that expression "D-do you know who wrote this?" Shuichi sounded shook as he said those words "N-no I don't, but there's a bloody finger print so that should give us a hint, I also found it on my bed after me, you, and Kaede hung out together and-" I took a long pause because I was about to say that me and Kaede made a truce "And?" Shuichi sounded concerned over me now "Oh sorry, and I only trust you now, I mean it WAS you and Kaede and y'know....things happened" my voice got quieter on the last two words at least my act sounded real.

As Shuichi examines the corpse he takes off the giant potato sack covering Kaede's neck too toe, he saw scratch marks? "Why is their scratch marks?" Kokichi looked and thought 'Did the culprit scratch Kaede and hang her?' It was weird just thinking about it. There wasn't any sharp weapons but the culprit could've scratched her and could've killed her then hang her "Why here?" Kokichi said curious and thinking to himself 'who would hate me so much that they would threaten me with Kaede's dead body? Did they see how happy I was with Shuichi and Kaede? It wasn't really a threat, more like a favor. "Hey Kokichi do you think that the culprit-" I stopped listening and stare at the corpse, the lifeless face wasn't pretty to look at anymore, her skin not as soft and tender, her smile not as bright as the sun shines it's just plain nothingness starring into your living soul, it brings chills down you're spine.

That's when I snapped back into reality "What Saihara-kun?" He repeated the words he said earlier it was just the same thing I thought, so I firmly nodded in response so it looks like I didn't space out again.

A/N I am really sleepy but StarLight_624 is making me stay up and suffer! She had to wake me up multiple times I'm guessing I just became a little hazy on this chapter and I am not making up for this I'm to tired
