Jennifer's POV
I hate the fact that I have to spend my first night without Malik being by my side.There's countless hours of work that Malik haves to do and it breaks my poor little soft heart.I support Malik one hundred percent for what he do but I have my moments when I want Malik all to myself for at least a day or two to spend some time with me.It's understandable though and I have to be strong for him but I don't know how long I can wait,I'm selfish,I want him all to myself every single day.But a man gotta do what a man gotta do and that's work...and other stuff.But other than that while he's working,I hope that no ratchet hoodrat or no thots try to flirt with Malik.Like we're talking about a really fine man being a DJ in Jamaica and I be hearing about how some females be acting like in Jamaica when they see a fine man in a club all alone just like how the ones in America act when they see a fine man in a club alone.If that happens then we will have some problems in Jamaica.
"Do you think we should have went somewhere that's family friendly that all of us could have hung out together?" Sophia asked. "I feel bad"
"I do,too,but I doubt that there's any family friendly events going on around this time of the night right now" Jacob replied
"Actually,they do but we just wanna keep our eyes on DJ boy over there" Sophia's mother said
Jacob and Sophia looked to their right at the DJ booth where Malik is standing at,playing DJ Khaled "Wild Thoughts" featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller
"Are you talking about Malik?" Sophia asked
"Yes!" Sophia's mother replied. "You know that we gotta have Jennifer's back when she's not around"
"I don't think that Malik would do anything wrong behind Jennifer's back" Jacob said
"Yea,mom,he loves her too much to do that" Sophia added
"Say that now,but when he starts to drink it's a different story" Sophia's mother said
"But Malik?" Sophia asked. "He wouldn't dare hurt Jennifer"
"Just wait and you will see" Sophia's mother said as Sophia looked at her father
"Do she always talk crazy like this?" Sophia asked
"Well,I--"
"I'm not talking crazy!" Sophia's mother replied. "I've just been in this situation before and I just wanna make sure that it doesn't happens to Jennifer"
"So,you think what happened to you will happen to Jennifer?" Sophia asked
"You'll be surprised,my dear.Just wait and keep your eye on that girl that's being fast in the ass on your left" Sophia's mother replied
Sophia turned her head to the left side and spotted a thick dark skinned woman wearing a tight and dark red dress,moving her body to the music in a very seductive way
"Why her?" Sophia asked
She keeps eye balling Malik" Sophia's mother replied
"How do you know?" Sophia's father asked. "She could be looking at somebody else"
"There's nobody else standing where she's looking at except for Malik!" Sophia's mother replied
Sophia looks back at the DJ booth and sees Malik bobbing his head and rocking his body to the music as he takes a couple sips from his drink as Jacob looks over to Sophia's left side and sees the dark skinned woman moving her round butt in a circle and drops it like it's hot while keeping her balance.She slowly goes back up swinging her hips side to side while staring at Malik as she bites down on her bottom lip.
"Wow,you're mother isn't lying" Jacob said
"What did you see?" Sophia asked
"Something that I wish I didn't see" Jacob replied. "She--" he sighs. "The dancing that she was doing while staring at Malik" Jacob replied
"We need to do something about this" Sophia said shaking her head
"Was he looking at her while she was dancing like that?" Sophia's father asked
"I don't know,I wasn't looking his way" Jacob replied
"Malik is too busy doing his own thing. He's not paying any attention to her" Sophia said
Malik starts to switch up the music and added Destiny's Child "Independent Woman" into the mix as he looked up and spotted the dark skinned woman dancing her way to his booth. Malik rolls his eyes and shakes his head
"I just don't understand women like her.She doesn't even know if he's in a relationship or not" Sophia's mother said
"You'll be surprised what some women do in this generation. They wouldn't care if he's taken or not" Sophia said rolling her eyes
"Well,that's just pathetic and nasty!" Sophia's mother said
"You can say that again" Sophia said as Jacob loudly whistled at Malik
"Yo!" Jacob said as Malik looked his way.
"Did you see that chicken head?" Jacob asked
Malik looked at Jacob confused as Sophia starts to fake dance and points at the dark skinned woman on the dance floor
Malik laughs and nods
"Chicken head?" Sophia's father asked
"She would have knew that I was talking about her if I said--"
"Hoe" Sophia said for Jacob
"What she just said"
"I would have still said it and not care if she heard it or not" Sophia's mother said as Sophia laughed
"You are a mess,mom"
"What? She's the one who's trying to get his attention and he's in a relationship with your best friend"
"Let's see what she's going to do first and then you can say something about her"
"Fine but if he gets wrapped around her finger,I'm blaming you"
"Trust me on this one" Sophia said as she looked at Malik
Malik takes more sips of his drink and looks on the dance floor where the dark skinned woman is dancing seductively to the music
"Or pray that he doesn't drink too much to the point that he does something stupid"
