Jennifer's POV
Sooo,Alice and I got the results back and of course Omar is the baby's father just like my cousin said! But of course Omar scary ass ditched out and moved out of the state without telling anybody,without saying a damn word to Alice or anything.This fool is really a deadbeat father,like why would he do that after he agreed to be a good father to the baby? Men like him make me sick to my stomach! Now I see why some women turn gay.But I know that my cousin will stay strong and be a great mother to her child because she's better off without Omar if you ask me.I pray that I don't end up in a situation like that or Sophia.
"Men" Alice said shaking her head
"You can say that again,girl" Jennifer said as she sips on a cup of wine.
"Did he really just did that?" Alice asked. "Did he really just disappeared like that?"
Jennifer nods. "Girl,he sure did"
"I still can't believe that he just did that to me"
"I can't either but not every man will stay by their baby momma's side"
"Then they shouldn't be calling themselves a man if they can't be one."
"Amen to that,girl" Jennifer said as she sips on her cup of wine again.
"Where did you get that wine from?" Alice asked
"Your wine cooler that's in the basement" Jennifer replied
"But I put a lock on it and hid the key"
"Well,let's just say I have my ways doing things when people are sleeping. And you are a very heavy sleeper" Jennifer said giggling
"Seriously,Jennifer?" Alice asked. "How many bottles did you open?"
"Just one and you shouldn't be drinking this anyways. Jennifer replied. "You're pregnant,remember?"
"I was saving the wine after I have this baby"
"Don't worry,you'll have plenty of wine left"
"With you in my house?" Alice asked. "I doubt it"
"That's harsh"
"I was just saying,girl,you know how you are when it comes to wine"
"Yea,that's true" Jennifer said as her phone rings
"Your phone is ringing" Alice said
"Yea,I know that" Jennifer said as she picks up her phone and answers it.
"Meghan Trainor All About That Bass?" Alice asked as Jennifer nods
"It's her favorite song" Jennifer replied
"Sophia?" Alice asked
