Ob's POV
Becca and I continue to lay on the floor, completely motionless as Ayano examines the room.
"Well, that was pathetic," she says.
"Now, Ob!" Becca exclaims. As Ayano raises her hand to hit me, I take control, shooting my hand forward to catch her wrist as it comes down. There's a bit of a struggle, but I use the momentum to pull myself to my feet.
"How is this possible?!" Ayano exclaims in rage.
"Buddy, the things ya deem ta be impossible are actually very possible," I say before kicking Ayano so hard her back hits the opposite wall.
"F1GH7 B4CK, M157R355!" Yuri exclaims. "Y0U H4V3 70!" Alex sneaks up behind her, ripping out the wire that is attached to the nape of her neck. She then puts her hand on the hole. Yuri puts up a good struggle, but ultimately, she allows Alex to restore the damage done to her body and mind.
"Alex?" she asks after a few moments. "What are you doing here? Better question, what am I doing here?"
"NO!" Ayano screams. She rushes at Alex, but is suddenly stopped. Alex has her hands outstretched, using some kind of power to hold Ayano in place. "HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY PLANS!"
"Perhaps you need a reminder of who I am," Alex says as she makes an outward motion with her arms. The motion causes Ayano to be split in half. Her body crumples to the floor before dissolving into binary code. The wires that she had controlled follow suit as I relinquish control to Becca.
Becca's POV
"Ya think that's the last we've seen of her?" I ask.
"Hardly," Yuri says. "I've been serving her for quite some time now, so I know most of her tricks. Thank you, Alex, for bringing me back."
"Hey, that's what friends are for," Alex says. Natsuki is one of the first people to get back up, running into Yuri's arms.
"I thought you were gone forever," she cries.
"Shhh," Yuri says, stroking her girlfriend's hair. "I'm here now, and I'm not going anywhere."
Carmilla's POV
"You sure this is the place?" Laura asks as we step out of the portal.
"It matches up with the location of the signal," I reply. "Come on, Creampuff. We have a job to do."
