Chapter 19: Married

*March 4, 2020*

Carmilla's POV

Seán, Anti, Chase, Dr. Schneeplestein, Marvin, Jackieboy Man, Jameson, Bella, Royal, Alex, Monika, Yuri, Natsuki, Sayori, Alexis, Maria, Ella, Brianne, Abi, Riley, Bailey, Velvet, Midnight, Dusk, Dawn, Lily, Turquoise, Mark, Dark, LaFontaine, Perry, Mattie, Danny, Kirsch, J.P., Sherman, Obsidian and Becca are seated in the great hall of what was once Castle Karnstein. Mattie and I are at the altar, with Mattie officiating. Tears begin to form in my as I watch my cupcake walk down the aisle with her father. After Mattie, Laura and I say a few words, it's time for the vows.

"Where do I begin?" I ask myself. "Laura, before I met you, I wasn't a good person. But you've helped me change. And you've grown and matured so much in the process. I also didn't think I could ever love again until I met you. I love you, Laura."

"Holy Hufflepuff, I don't know if I can top that," Laura mumbles. "Carm, when I first enrolled in college, I never expected it to be such an adventure. But now that we're here, I know that we were meant to be together. I love you, Carmilla." After a few more words are said, Laura and I are officially married.

*time skip*

Becca's POV

Carmilla and Laura had just gotten married and now we're seated at a venue that Mattie had rented out for the wedding reception. Soon, it's time for Laura and Carmilla's closest friends and family to share their memories of the couple. Sherman Hollis is the first to go up to the mic.

"When I raised Laura, I didn't think she'd be marrying a centuries-old vampire," he says. "And yet, now that it's happened, I still see her as my little girl. So, all I can say is, congratulations."

Laura's college friends all share their memories of the couple, and then it's Mattie's turn.

"You know, I'm not one for sappy emotional bullsh*t," she says, eliciting laughter from the crowd. "But I've always wanted the best for my little sister. I've known Mircalla longer than any of you have. When she first showed up, I was ecstatic. I had always wanted a sister, and I got my wish. I taught her everything she knows about being a vampire. But now it's time to let her go off into the world. So, Laura, I ask you this. Keep her safe for me." Laura nods. Then, the live orchestra begins to play some music and we all begin to dance. Mine and Bella's shadows soon join in.

"I love you, Laura Hollstein," Carmilla says to her wife.

"I love you too, Carmilla Hollstein," Laura returns. I turn around to see my girlfriend, Lily, and kiss her.

"Ya know, there's a million things I haven't done... with you," I say.

"Still quotin' Hamilton?" Ob asks as she dances with Turq.

"Yer the one that's in my head, Ob. Our memories are mostly the same."

"True."
