It finally hit me...the way to make it look like we're dating is to not be so shy. She looked so pretty standing there washing the dishes I stood up, walked over to her, and wrapped my arms around her waist, and rested my head on her lower shoulder since she is taller than me. She turned her head slightly and smiled... she knew exactly what I was doing. Her pink shirt was so bright I could taste it, but it fit her bright personalty, so I didn't say anything.

"I never realized that my feelings for you are a flowing river." She blushed, rinsed her hands, turned the water off, turned around, and wrapped her arms around me as I was doing to her.

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP

"Oh the cookies are done." Charli whispered as she slipped away from me. Dammit I had it all figured out and that took a lot of balls that I no longer have!

"Mmmm they smell amazing." I whispered hesitantly

"Thanks... I didn't mean to ruin the moment." I didn't know what to say I felt bad to know that she felt bad.

"It's okay Charli. Don't worry about we have all night." I whispered with a smile on my face so she wouldn't feel as bad.

"Charli checks the chunky chocolate chip cookies." She laughed and then commented "It's about time." I peeked out the kitchen window to see that the clouds were slowly eating the sun. Charli got the cookies out of the oven and on two plates by the time I turned around.

"Okay all done. Let's go watch a movie and eat some cookies."

"Okay sounds good to me." I ran upstairs, got in my pajamas, came down with a few blankets, laid them on the floor, put a Santa Clause movie on, and snuggled up with Charli. After about half of the movie we both fell asleep.
