Yesterday was a little strange; Charli and I didn't know how we should act around each other and that's exactly what I was trying to ovoid... Should we start holding hands? Hugging? No we already do that... girls does that all the time.
Knock, knock, knock
"Come in." I mumbled tiredly... I didn't want whoever it was to know I was up this late on a school night, even though I did go to sleep and woke up around 1:50AM.
"Honey I'm sorry t-to bother you, but my kidney stones are killing me. I need you to watch your brother for a little."
"Okay." I answered worried
After about 10 minutes of sitting on the couch while my 2 year old brother sit sleeping in his wheel chair my dad came down stairs.
"Hey how you doin?" I whispered
"I need you to call 911 and ask for an ambulance."
"O-okay."
I jumped up, grabbed the phone, trying not to let my dad see how shaky my hands were I dialed 9-1-1.
"911 how can I help you?"
"I need an ambulance."
Dad's POV
The last thing I heard was my daughter saying she needed an ambulance. Lola is so brace and smart and talented I'm so proud of her. She remind me of her mother so perfect in ways you would not understand unless you personally knew them. By the minutes the pain increased severely and I could not think straight. Lola entered the kitchen where she continued the call and I struggled to get the pain to stop."Male, 41 years old." Lola walked away pacing the living room again.
"Lola DeAngelo." I only heard bits and pieces of the phone conversation some of Lola talking some of the person on the other end of the call.
"Okay Dad they are sending an ambulance so just be patient. Is there anything I can do to help until they get here?" At this point I could not even talk the pain became excruciating.Knock, knock, knock
*5 minutes later*
Lola's POV
I opened the door and two women were standing there waiting. I let them in and walked into the kitchen were my dad was on his knees leaning on the chair. How the hell are these two dainty little women going to get my two-hundred thirty pound dad to the ambulance?!
"Okay sir where is the pain."
"My back.... mmmm, he moaned in pain, my lower back and my groin area."
"Okay have you thrown up yet?"
"No not yet."
"Okay why don't we have you stand up?"
"Let's get you to the ambulance." The second women whispered as she helped my dad up and out the house. She wrapped her arm around his waist while his right arm was around her neck and his left hand holding his lower stomach. After they left I went upstairs to see if mom had come home. She was home, so I woke her up and explained everything to her. She was upset he didn't wake her however she went back to sleep. I then went to the bathroom and went back to bed myself.
